RJ brings a very refreshing CEO energy. Just a nice, innovative respectful leader.
@eddiegardner82322 ай бұрын
RJ, these designs are hits right out of the ballpark. I recommend that you prioritize R3 ASAP. With the right price, that car is a winner for so many different market segments, right down to what has been abandoned by the Bolt withdrawal from the market. The "hot hatch" crowd will love it with a tri-motor chassis, while people looking for a small practical less expensive SUV will too. You are guiding your company to be one of the new "big three" auto companies of the electric era. I wish you and your company the best.

Too bad it's so far off they don't even give a year though. :( If only it released in 2025 at the latest - it could be so successful I feel. Europe especially is screaming for EVs this size, and it looks great with excellent attention to details. Here's hoping they do include the bluetooth speaker with all their models though, that'd be so sweet, and would lower price per unit as well due to larger production runs.

So happy to see Rivian put out new more affordable products. One thing I don't see people talk about is the decision to place the chargeport where they did (rear passenger side). I understand reducing the HV cable run to save costs, but why not place it rear driver side to make it more accessible at Superchargers? Owners of these cars will have to take up two parking stalls at a Supercharger because charge cables are short and can only reach a port that is located front passenger or rear driver side.

While it is quite nice, have you looked at the first video of this “Auto Focus” channel? He said he wanted to do this channel in a way that helped show people who wanted to start off their own new channels that they can do it with their own stuff, they don’t need the awesome equipment and setup his main MKBHD channel uses. That said, it is definitely appreciated to see he still clearly creates quality content while going to a more “basic” setup… even if it is being shot on a top end mobile device. 🙂

@@arion9696 I'm loving the recent trend of more small "crossovers" getting closer and closer to classic hatchback styling! Ioniq5, Mazda CX30, Volvo EX30, and more are essentially hatchbacks in proportions and styling. I think the extended wheelbase of EVs are one of the reasons the EVs in particular are resembling hatchbacks more than the ICE crossovers. When you push out the wheels farther to the front and rear, it naturally seems to lend itself to the hatchback shape with proportions resembling the early VW Golfs and similar cars.
