Saw one in the wild for The first Time the other week. I really like the idea of having an electric pickup, but I don't wait in line to finance every single new i-device and pay subscription fees for features already built into them so no manufacturer will ever make the one I want.

Ha! Not everyone 'does it'. Some of my more experienced diving friends suggest don't. Kinda makes sense that wetsuits tend to get a bit nasty over time, regardless of how much you rinse them. But, to each their own.

If it’s anything like a Tesla then the answer is yes but still less problems than a standard gasoline combustion powered vehicle. Fewer moving parts means less maintenance

Too bad Rivian mileage claims came in well below what EPA claims. And pulling anything behind it, less than half what it claims. Just don’t leave town on it. Just a work and back vehicle!

Cool truck, looks good, has good capabilities but I'll pass until we have fuel cell technology that allows for replacement/exchange of a cartridge/battery when the power level is low so that I don't have to wait an hour or more to recharge. Also, these have terrible range when towing. As capable as this truck is off-road, I'll skip taking a $75k truck off-road and use my SxS that is much cheaper to fix if damaged and better capable. Thus the need for engineers to figure out how to make these with a longer driving range when towing and quick 15 minutes or less battery replacement in lieu of using a charging station. Although I love the looks and functionality, it's best suited for someone that has time to waste. I'd rather spend my time playing more because our life is short.

having cars & trucks plug into the grid will not help climate change, the stress these vehicles will put on our systems not to mention the transfer of tax & wealth will overall destroy our economy

You may be correct in your assessment. However, a shift away from fossil fuels in necessary the EV’s we are seeing are the beginning of that shift. Think in terms of a 30 to 50 year plan. Electric cars could simply be a transition phase to something else like hydrogen or perhaps the grid system will change as EV’s grow. It’s a huge and slow process. Also my tesla is insanely fast and fun to drive!!

With the gentleman standing in this video are very smart why would you want to purchase a vehicle that you had to charge constantly to use it why don't you take that ocean water desalinate it and split the atoms and get the hydrogen out of it to make a hydrogen and use the hydrogen the power of gasoline vehicle or a diesel vehicle without having to stop and get gas or diesel from a gas station now you only stop if you need something to drink or go to the bathroom because 20 oz of water has enough hydrogen in it to last seven lifetime why doesn't big business want us to have this technology because they can't charge us for refueling our vehicles in that would cut them out of the circle and we'd have more money in our pockets electric vehicles are the worst thing the society could accept I will never own one
