I’m 66 years old I have an L5 S1 spondylolisthesis with a herniated disc would I be a candidate for this procedure? It’s very interesting to me where you bore through a portion of the vertebral arch rather than cutting all the posterior arch thus maintaining the vast majority of the stability of the vertebral arch. it’s May 26, 2024. I’m shopping for a neurosurgeon who will perform this procedure, creating intervertebral height, improve stability, and decompression of the nerve roots for L-5 S-1.
