Perfect timing. I was going to build my fence this weekend but after seeing yours, I'm going to copy your idea. I was going to slot some pieces of flat stock and use the two middle bolts on the tool as support but your idea is much better. I don't have a lathe however so I'll need to find someone to turn the bars for me but I'll figure it out. Thanks for posting this.

Awesome! Yeah I bet you could just find tubing that will nest in the next size up pretty well.
