this is one of the saddest arcs for me, I didnt and dont like Chihiro all that much, but the dive to become strong and expecially Mondo and Taka were soo great... and unlike DR2 or some V3 theories we dont have any cought out to revive them...

2:12 NOOO BABY DON'T You guys...Chi forgave Mondo. He had a panic attack, PTSD flashback when he was with Chihiro, he died because he didn't treat his PTSD, Mondo was silently suffering the whole time. He was like Leon, he didn't want to kill Chihiro, but he did. Mondo stood up for Chihiro, and when that happened and Togami gave in, Chihiro felt weaker than ever; Mondo was kind enough to him, to try and make him feel better. He mentions his brother so casually, hiding the fact that he killed his brother. Mondo gave his word, and when they trained together... he shouted. He broke his word... that's when he really knew he was going to get executed. Mondo and Taka together as "brothers" or "Kyoudai" and that made Mondo feel better for losing his real brother.

No no! Chihiro is canonically a cross-dresser!! He was bullied for being weak so he dressed himself up as a girl to stop that. I do head canon him as a demiboy but, he is just canonically a cross dresser. Ah I hope you don't take this the wrong way. I'm trans myself and hate transphobes but that's not what this is in this instance. It's more of "boys need to be strong or they're not really boys" type of thing. Or a "boys can't be feminine".
