Damn, awesome work as always, it doesn't even look like cardboard! I'm working on a Boba Fett helmet myself, and I'm on the spackle/sanding stage right now. I was kind of lacking motivation, but the release of this video and the Book of Boba Fett gave me just the right inspiration, I'm gonna go work on that now! Thanks, keep up the great work
@bigman78562 жыл бұрын
At the end section I thought you compared your final product to a replica production model. I was like “eh, it’s pretty okay for cardboard I guess” then I realized they’re both cardboard, when you mentioned the one on the stand was the one you just made. This was amazing, I mean I am used to most fan made stuff being semi descent with certain off proportions, but you did good on this one. The progress you’re making is also amazing!

I know this might be overkill for this kind of project but have you ever considered saturating/submerging your pieces of smaller segments into resin? Each piece of the corrugated cardboard has a lot of empty volume and by fully saturating the cardboard you will end up with a much stronger material as opposed to the somewhat hollow end product which of course is much lighter. Of course you'd have to let each piece cure and make sure there is minimal warping, but you get the idea. I only mention this because I've worked with cardboard in the past for small moquettes which had to be a tad more durable than coating the outer surface with resin. I love your projects and hope you keep on making them as well as inspire others to do the same. Keep up the good work!
