I'm guessing because they sent them out to a bunch of people. For $199...I'd just get the Team Associated Reflex 14b for the same price. It's got more plastic parts, but it was really durable. I beat the snot out of mine

all buggies are pretty much made with similar designs. The body style definitely had a Typhon feel to it though
