Love the video but you did not show or explain how to remove the bearings from the Wish bone.My Honda Cr and the one in the Video can not be pushed though as the centre is smaller than the Bushes.Does the kit pull the Bush out also ? I currently working on my Linkage and have come to a stop trying to remove these bearings in the wish bone. Thanks for your time.

+Michael Doherty You can refer to this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oam5h5RsbreqbZo It should help you understand. Where you're thinking it's smaller in the center of the wish bone it's not. If you have any other questions just let me know, thanks for tuning in!

@@jbeezy126 you ever figure it out yet?

@@coloradodirtbike5930 yeah I used this exact kit and it got everything done. The black piece in the bottom right of the kit is the blind bearing puller. I inserted it into the bearing, tightened the tool on the inside of it. Then use a hammer and punch on the opposite side to hit the tool out along with the bearing. I had to use a vice to hold the linkage while I hammered it out.

@@jbeezy126 yea the kit works good. The 20mm blind bearing puller worked great for the wishbone. Instead of hitting the head of the tool out from the opposite side, you can pull them out from the same side, with the bigger blue piece that the black piece was inside of. I as well use a vise, a bit of heat from a hand torch, and they press/pull right out. For installing sometimes freezing the bearing makes them fall right in without needing to apply too much pressure to press them in. For bearing head stay races they make a special tool that works wonders.

Just bought this kit to pull out the needle bearings inside my Lonestar swing arm for my 2020 Yfz 450r and it destroyed itself trying to get the first one out … it constantly cross threads itself even when it’s half way down the shaft it’ll randomly just bind up and when you use the washers when enough pressure is applied they end up crushing and destroying the threads on the tool itself rending it useless … as for the blind puller it cross threads itself even after you are about 10-15 theads on … my bearings are fairly damaged due to a crash but having the tool destroy itself is kinda dumb … guess I’ll have to see if snap on makes a good set that’ll work

They make a tool specifically for swing arm bearings. I suspect that would be more heavy duty perhaps. In saying that even with presses and tools, heat and penetrating oil is usually required for crusty bearings too.

what if you have two bearings. do you pull them both like a blind bearing? or just push from one side. I'm restoring a 1998 CR 125

Will it work for sports bike wheel bearing too

Unfortunately, this tool is bike specific and only offered for off-road motorcycles and ATV's at this point. Sorry about that and thanks for watching!
