Super neat! There are sometimes that the owner opens it for tours. They have done an amazing job with it!

Looking into getting this bike within the month this definitely will help me decide if im going to get the full on adventure model or just the de then modify it myself

If you're looking to off-road it and expect a lot of drops I would definitely look into the stock DE. I've heard the OEM crash bars are not as beefy as something like the Tusk ones. Also I'm not a big fan of hard boxes since I ride alone and off-road a lot.

@Nomadic_Pigeon so my options right now are a de with 2000 miles for 11k or a adventure with 0 miles for 14900 which one do you think I should get?

@@Gsgshshshbsnbsb Personally, I would lean towards the DE as It would also give you a budget to build out the bike the way you want it.

Can confirm. The stock tires in the sand are less than ideal.

I need to test ride this one, and the new T-7. I'm looking for a single-bike, that I can do some light trail riding on occasion, daily 100+ mile commute, and the occasional 1000+ mile long weekend road trip with some potential camping thrown in. My buddy has a T-7 and goes out with others on dual sports quite a bit, but he doesn't put on the road miles like I know I will. I really like the Yamaha, but this 'zuki really seems like it would be a better choice for what I'd be doing.

I've taken her on some single track, and it does quite well! The only problem I had was the foot pegs are a bit lower to the ground so if you get caught in a single-track rut you will hit peg. I've rode several T7s and actually would take the Vstrom over it as it feels more stable & balanced, and wayyy more comfy.

The 800DE will be better for the road miles for sure. I would recommend it. I have done a few 400+ mile days and it's not too rough on me at all.

First and most important upgrade in this bike is the rear shock spring.

16 minute commercial for products to buy. Was hoping for a story too, but I guess that was asking for too much. RMATV is awesome, but some depth to the story of the ride would be nice.

I am 6' 4" with a 32 inseam. They do have an OEM low seat that lowers it by 20mm. Seat concepts also offers a lowered version that drops it by 1 1/8" (28.5mm) but you need to pull the stock foam and glue it onto the seat pan.
