How To Rebuild the Fuel Pump on a Polaris RZR/Ranger

On my 2012 RZR 900 xp4 I had a no start issue. Pulled the line going to the injectors and there was very little fuel flow coming out when cycling the key on and off. So I proceeded to pull the fuel pump from the tank to change it and noticed that the little hard plastic fuel line that runs from the pump up to the white plastic mounting flange was cracked nearly in half in one spot. Removed it using a razor knife and replaced with some submersible rubber fuel line and the RZR is back to running like new.

took wires off at the solder.. it was took a higher temperature then normal solder. got it done and working . may be easier to splice..

Can you buy just the end pipe, mine got cracked. It is the pipe that is on top of the pump. I checked and I cannot find one, the only thing is to buy the whole pump. mine is an angle one,

You know what would cause a viton grommet to keep ripping on older model fuel pump assembly? Its the viton grommet that goes over the pump barrel. Ive replaced 2 and they all keep splitting on me and thus causing fuel pressure failure.

New assembly worked great, but i canned the new sender nut and used the old. New one is terrible.
