Neat old outboard, crazy that it will "idle" as well as it does for the age of all the parts on it! Great video

Awesome video like always Sir.. I think it was just Cool Beans that the Ol 64 fired up and ran it didn’t sound too bad.. I like the Ol heavy duty trailer it’s a neat trailer and I have never seen one like it but the tongue is just a little too short . The ShoreLander trailer would be a nice addition to the Gray Bandit Evinrude Boat .. 👍👍👍 Stay safe and As always Sir thanks for the ride along and Keep’em coming..

I remember hearing horror stories of that motor in the late 70's. That's when everyone went to Chrysler, Johnson and Evinrude

they make all different sizes of inside pipe wrenches and will pull the heli coil right out

You're right, the "Fat 4" is no longer a best choice. A little tired and too hacked on. Would be a very do-able project, but why? Looking forward to the next installment! By the way, the Sterling trailer under the Banana was made here in my hometown of Salem Oh. Sadly they closed up shop back in the early/mid 70's so it was good to see a nice one still around! Enjoy!
