This was built 5 years ago. If you go to the channels playlist, you'll see videos from 4 years ago of the heater running.

How are your chinampa beds doing ?

abandoned I'm afraid. We just got busy these last 7 years. They are still in place, but have not been touched up. Further leave / soil topping would have been a valuable next step, but alas not executed. Busy doing other things that bring in $, so they have just weathered with little updates to provide.

Dear @@abcacres6413 I'm a blogger who blogs about my perma-regen-eco-wildlife-natural-poison free-native food plant-biodiversity gardening and I SO understand... so many projects... sometimes I don't even blog about my success stories... I'm fascinated by chinampas and urban agriculture... wondering what kind of understanding of ecology the Aztecs had. This was not the only gardening idea which is ecologically effective to come out of Meso-America, they were brilliant in so many ways. I was very excited to see you had tried out making a chinampa.. must have been a lot of work. Being in zone 5 may have made it harder to fit into daily maintenance schedules.

Why you have turned on content for kids? On your channel, there's nothing for kids. Because I can't turn on the bell notifications

Thanks for note... I checked this vid details, and It is not marked as appropriate for kids. Not sure where this issue lies, but will investigate. That being said, i feel our site is full of things for kids. Just not cartoons and such.

@@abcacres6413 You have a complete channel marked for kids. It's the same in all videos.

Would've been useful to actually see you perform the lap joint. Your camera was more swayingfocused on the ground...

I wish so as well. I was months behind schedule at that point and didn't know it wasn't in frame. We weren't processing any of the video at the time of build. Once the brick was done in the miter saw, i just held it in the palm of my hand with the dado/lap section up and then using the angle grinder with 4" diamond blade, just float the wheel along the two edges to clean it up. There's no pressure, that soft brick almost gets out of the way of the blade by itself. You can see a tiny part of that in frame while I'm sliding back and forth on the brick with the angle grinder. Think of using that 4" wheel like a sander, just feathering the edges down for the corner clean up

For some reason your videos that are useful for farming are labeled as content designed for kids. So I can't add any of them too useful playlist that I create for reference on agriculture. And some of those videos also don't allow comments which is not a good thing for the KZbin algorithm because comments help you get more views. I want to subscribe but because you're useful videos are set up in such a poor manner I have no reason to subscribe because I can't use them for reference so those videos will just be lost in the aether and I'll never be able to find them again. Once you fix that annoying set up I would love to subscribe. Thanks!

ABC ACRES -- Your channel is set on KZbinas a video or channel’s audience as “made for kids.” Which means no one gets notices of your videos. Ill unsub till it changes sorry
