When would you recommend using the Luminosity feature in LR as apposed to the Curves adjustment in PS? One in the same and just a preference based on your workflow or a definitive difference? Thanks and keep up the excellent work on providing these thorough yet simple to comprehend videos.

Curves has the ability to not only target specific color channels, but also luminosity. In RGB and CMYK, any adjustments you make to color will affect the luminosity by a certain amount. Curves can also target more-specific color and tonal regions in an image, without selections. The best part is that Curves can be used globally and locally in Photoshop with incredible accuracy, more than what you can do in LR. You can have an incredibly complex selection in PS and load that selection as a mask and apply an adjustment like Curves JUST to that specific area - something you can't do with LR. It just depends on what you are trying to do. Jeff doesn't use LR but prefers Capture One Pro, and his workflow relies on both C1Pro and Photoshop. However, a lot can be done in LR if you prefer that workflow. Different tools.
