For those who played mhw, for the water pressure atk, just pretend it's fatalis' cone atk. edit: Is there any spawn patterns? or just random? I haven't seen one near another. One is always km away from another.

Oh yeah that’s a good point!! Right now it’s just really rare. You might get lucky and find a few together, but best to wait till boosted spawns if you’re looking to just have a killing spree.

Even if you don't care about Power Prolonger, Coral Pukei's armor is definitely worth pursuing. In fact, the two pieces I recommend most DON'T have that skill. The first is the helmet. It starts with Weakness Exploit 1, then gets Lock-On at Grade 6, instantly making it better in most situations than the Kulu-Ya-Ku helmet. But if you persist in upgrading it and get it to G8, it grants _another_ point in Weakness Exploit! That extra 5% affinity on weak spots may not matter much, but it's there. Plus, the extra defense from G8ing it is always helpful. I'm personally holding on to two Wyvern Gem Shards for when it comes time to G8 this piece. Incidentally, if you love affinity weapons like the Kulu LS, then the Coral Pukei helmet is the last piece you'll need to build - at the moment - the ultimate affinity set: G8 Coral Pukei/G6 Rathalos/G6 Azure Rathalos/G6 Pink Rathian/G6 Kulu-Ya-Ku. This nets you Lock-On, Critical Eye 4 (+30% affinity), Weakness Exploit 4 (+40% affinity on weak spots) and Critical Boost 2 (1.35x damage on critical hits instead of 1.25x). It's the best possible pure affinity set at the moment, although the sets that give you (Element) Attack 5 still outperform it. The second is the waist, meant for Light Bowgun (and for Heavy Bowgun when that eventually comes out) - it starts with one rank of Reload Speed, then gets a rank of Recoil Down at G6. This potentially opens up a large number of options for other armor pieces. For example, Fire LBG can get to Reload Speed 3 and Fire Attack 1 with the G6 Azure Rathalos legs. Slap on the G6 Paolumu chest and the Anjanath head and you've got Fire Attack 3, Reload Speed 3 and Recoil Down 3! This works wonders with the Anjanath LBG.

Good tip for hunting Coral is to always *accept* invites as parts can be broken quicker and the Ultimate Laser has less time to activate, or from my experience not activate at all.

It’s the same move set as world though 😅Honestly, the black diablos bow is perfect for this thing. Being able to charge sidestep with one less charge makes it much easier to dodge within the 2-4 second window it gives you. You can even hit it once or twice during the ultimate laser 🏹

Yeah the boosted rates are when it’s worth to hunt it. Sadly outside of that not really worth unless you have a huge community.

Hey char quick question bcs i feel like im becoming crazy, since the update today (27) the animations for the charge blade have become really weird, the attack will connect DAYS before the animation, like in the SAED the dmg and elemental pillars will be dealt on the middle of the first axe swing, i havent tested that with other weapons but i saw something similar hapening to tzitzi just now its really offputting

@@KINGOFCHARMANDERS hey man i just posted video evidence of it happening against a zinogre, im pretty sure it is something related to FPS, where before the update the game would slow down, now the animations and 3d models fell like they are lagging whyle the dmg calculations run at normal speed

First you're awesome. But know what I'd love to see? Everyone is so "Oh you have a Cera Coilbender? Ez clap congrats you beat the game." They have done a great job at balancing bow mechanics. Not optimal range. Damage is shit. Not aiming at a critical point... damage is shit. People think Bow is a free win. And it's just not. Especially now that everything has a weird depth perception or gap closes like crazy. I'd love to see a "today's talk" about advanced bow mechanics.

For atk 7 i treat any monster raising its wings whyle having the claws on the ground as a Brute tigrex mega roar, so tldr i just dodge like a madman lol

Where is coral pukei I have the weapon and I think it is pretty unfair that you arent able to improve IT? Was coral pukei only for the event time huntable? I Play Monster Hunter since 2007 there is No way a Monster IS only for this short time huntable whats with the people starting the game after the event? Please someone help me i couldnt find answers

Subspecies Monsters in MHN have events where they will be out on the field and boosted. Coral Pukei likely won't return until June for the next major update. Don't worry it will be back!

Cause I Just now finished the story quests with them and IT told me that from now on I can encounter pink rathian and azure rathalos but when I look on the Internet I only find the events. But the Game clearly told me today, that I can encounter both of them regurarly on the map without hunt marathons or events?
