I agree with the point you have raised here that trial test does not determine how to drive a vehicle on the road. In China to prevent this, and to let the people know how to drive on real road, they have to give test 3 (4 tetsts in total) where each and every single signs and traffic instructions should be followed accordingly in a timely manner and should drive properly. There also needs to understand what should be done if we encounter immediate circumstances. After test 3 safety instruction exam(Test4) teaches everything about safety driving. Beside these there are 24 hrs traffic monitoring to check if someone violates the traffic rule and strict punishment for that.
