So.. We obviously knew which Corvette was faster. But dang that 427 BBC beast looked hard to handle out there. And doin it one handed shows massive skills too. I kept yellin at my screen "get out of the way white Corvette he's faster" 😂😂👍👍 Awesome video!! BBC all the way!! 😎😎👍👍

My father had a split window 427 and one Sunday on the Santa Monica freeway some guy in a Datsun Z tried messing with him. That Z went backwards past my window like the one here.

Must be a class rules thing. None of them have side windows. Historic rules include different things than modern class rules.

I'm amused by all the 'handful' comments. Stays with everthing in the corners and blow them into the weeds everywhere else. The only wheelwork comes from trying to tame the massive torque generated by the 427. A properly setup L88 is a killer, both on the dragstrip and on the track.

Bias ply tires. They move around more, but break loose more predictably and are preferred by some, also some class rules say you have to run them. Another thing, he is driving the car to its limits, that's the way you get past the whole field.
