Hey Rick When you and Jamie get moved into your new home, Have you 2 thought of throwing a House warming party just for all the teams that made it happen from the Driveway truckers, the Tree guy and the home movers and the many many other behind the scene, When I thank of something like this It remind me of a Homecoming Like my Church had every summer. with all the love and caring. And OOH Dear Lord The food, everyone brought a covered Plate. And all the Music That Day you could almost hear every Gospel you knew. Good Luck My Brother and May God Keep on with all the Blessing you have coming your way.

Yes, we have mentioned that a few times throughout the series. Once the house is on the property, there will be a huge "Homecoming" party. We will invite everyone who had any part of the project and all of our friends, family and channel supporters. Thank you and God Bless you.

I use to use one on my dads extra long driveway it was about half mile long. Easy to use just drive forward and pull behind the tractor. Lots of people use them cause they are great.

@ClassicTruckRescue Жыл бұрын
You are right David! The roof is on the shop, I have also actually built a barn, fenced a pasture and put 4 Black Angus Cows on the property as well. I sometimes give "Sneak Peeks" of the current progress just to let our Viewers know we are progressing faster than what the videos show. This leads to some confusion in the present, but in time, when the videos are caught up, I will go back through the channel and delete the Sneak peek videos and wha-la, it will all make perfect sense to future Viewers.

So, what's the story with the shop build? Is that going to start up again once the house is in place? So many projects, so little time.
@MH-pw1rq Жыл бұрын
Hi Rick, once your house is on the ranch what are your plans for the site prep and laying the foundation for the house?
@ClassicTruckRescue Жыл бұрын
I think they will be putting the house up on cribbing and we will build the stem walls, then lower the house. There have been changes to the house location and stem wall height. I will be doing an update and bringing the content current very soon.

How are there leaves on trees and how are you wearing a tee-shirts in Demeber. The leaves all fell off the trees here in washington. And where would rooster Fogburn be these days?
@ClassicTruckRescue Жыл бұрын
The footage is behind David. I have been super busy since we started cutting the house apart in June. I am making videos as fast as I can while continuing to do everything I have to do to cut a house in half, build a driveway big enough to haul it in, clear a new site for the home, build a barn for cows....oops, see you made me reveal something. The bottom line is that the videos are a little behind the actual progress, but I am making the videos of the work in the order that it actually happened. A year from now, it will make no difference to new Viewers WHEN the video was shot, they will want to see it in the proper order. Also, I find it a little hard to believe you aren't already aware of all of this. Since you are actually my Brother (Not just figuratively) and I know you very well, I would say that the little smarty-pants David is playing with Big-Brother. Rooster Fogburn just started crowing...seriously. Love you Brother.

Just wondering why wouldn't let Joe spread it when he dumps? Then just get one extra one to push/ level to the sides and where needed. Would save big on time, fuel, wear and tare on yunkin. Plus Joe's truck tires and suspension. Working in the aggregate and trucking industry only reason asking.
@ClassicTruckRescue Жыл бұрын
It wasn't possible to spread it out when we first started...we were going for volume to fill a void and I guess we just never switched gears.
@nummnuts22 Жыл бұрын
@ClassicTruckRescue I got the filling in the void at first, just didn't understand after. If the truck was walkbeam suspension it would take more of a pounding but air ride doesn't like to flex that much. I loved the air ride but hated to fix it all the time and the tires always getting chewed up on gravel

Rick I’m going to guess that you will be doing a video on Christmas Day of them bringing the house in to the property for you and to let everyone of the people that said that you couldn’t do it to prove them that they was definitely wrong!!!! Lol!!! I definitely new that you would get it done!!! I am a little confused on the roof on the shop though unless I just didn’t see the driveway being done this far when you put the video out of the shop getting a roof on it???? Anyway it doesn’t really matter to me I’m just glad that you have been able to make everything work for you and Jamie!!!! Awesome video buddy!!!
@ClassicTruckRescue Жыл бұрын
J.J. I will make a video of the house rolling onto the property when it actually happens......actually, I probably won't. I guess it was a very big mistake to show sneak peeks of the roof being completed on my shop. I only showed the shop roof being done to silence all of the trolls who were constantly saying the shop would never get completed,,,the wood would rot and it would fall down before I could get a roof on it....etc..etc.. I also showed the sneak peek of the roof to reassure faithful Viewers like yourself who have been with us for the long haul and deserved some good news. There is A LOT going on out here. I am learning to get help when I can, but I have no choice most of the time and have to do the majority of the work by myself. I won't be doing anymore sneak peeks....just not worth the confusion. I also think a big part of the problem is that people tend to watch the KZbin channels that get millions of views and make tons of money. On those channels, shops pop up overnight, cars and trucks get restored in the blink of an eye. There are A LOT of people and dollars involved with that. That's not how it works out here at the Classic Truck Ranch. We ARE getting there, but we are getting there REAListically. I am one man who does most of the work, all of the filming and all of the editing. Despite that, my goal is to have our Viewers all caught up on our progress for the start of the new year. I really want to get back to a place where I wake up, film a days work and upload it the next day. Its possible, I will do it. It has taken 8-years to get where we are , but its coming together now. I really believe that our channel will take off once the house and shop are done and I can get back to doing what I do best.."Rescuing Classic Trucks". Thanks for letting me rant J.J.
