Road Test: 2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid

Now they’re really cheap on FBM. Can’t wait to get one and airbag it, put eye lids on it, build the engine to be a bit more powerful, put subs in the trunk, wheels and tires, and a nice exhaust (or maybe just a full exhaust delete, or a delete of some kind relating to the exhaust, catback, or muffler). It’s gonna be awesome.

I wish they made it with a bigger, more powerful engine. That way you can have a big-ass car with still excellent fuel mileage and power when you need it. Think about this: an AWD system with a 3.0 V6 Lincoln. That's bad-ass and would still likely get 32-35 mpg city. Ford, are you listening?!

@carguy379 I agree! But when Ford does put them on, its in a hy hybrid plate under the name of the car on the boot and very stylishly in the front bottom corners of the front driver and passenger doors. GM should take notice. Ford is sweeping the competition!

I use to abhor these new Lincoln grilles and I love Ford. But!, I can say now after looking at them for a long time now doing alittle research on these and comparing them to other luxury makers, I actually like the grilles now, well, at least on the MKZ, MKS and the Navigator. Im not sure how I feel about them on the MKZ and MKT. I cant wait for the new redisigned grille when it rolls out!

@RJBbass2000 Lincoln always does this. [at least in the last decade] they go just so far but cut back at the very end. One day Ford will get it..

Lincoln's use to be Sharp cars back in the day, my two favorites was the Continental and the Mark IIIV, please Lincoln come back you have some-what lost your touch.

@OneOfaKind949 Yes that's true ,last time i droped my son for his daycare ,but i was very disappointed because i did 0 to 60 time in 6.1 seconds instead of 5.1 seconds. We need cars for real life . Me i don't care much about the luxury staff ,comfort,reliability the most important is Horse power of at least 400 to be decent and at least ,i mean at least 0 to 60 time in 5.1 seconds that's what i call a car.

A Lincoln this is not.. I am all for Hybrid cars but this is probably the worst engine made in the last 20 years. I am a Ford man but they just need to stop and just do better.

I'll much rather get a 360 hp Infiniti M35 hybrid that gets 30 mpgs with a 0 to 60 time of 5.1 seconds!
