When you're offered a pawn in the center take it you gave up center advantage chasing a pawn. You had better center position and let him lock down the middle in the 3rd game

@@abshirb143:14 and the point of the scotch is to take full control of all the center squares early game with the 2 pawns blockading the 4 tiles in front of them, taking one of the pawns somewhat ruins this plan, so they take back with the knight recapturing and setting a possible trap.

Rook a5 bishop takes a5 knight d6 check then bishop takes a5 mate no?
