@@fahim7593I just play the englund against D4 but I'm just a lowly 1500. Mainly for 2 reasons. I refuse to play a normal boring London game and it's a lot of fun. Objectively worse? Yes. But a lot of traps for white London players to fall into very quickly if they're not precise. If you play a lot of London zombies that always just move their pieces to the same squares as white you'll have a great time with it. Anyways I'm currently at 64% win rate in this opening as black and a lot of games end very quickly. So as long as you're not planning on playing professionally and like fun and open positions (and despise the London) give it a try. It gets a lot of bad reputation because it's technically unsound, but you're playing people and not computers and people fall apart when you force them onto unknown territory. Search for englund gambit chessbrah here on yt if you're interested in the lines.

Hi Alex! I love your videos man, I learned a lot in the last couple of weeks watching your caro kann and jobava videos. As a 1000 rated player I like to see the games against 1500 to 2000 players, but I also like to watch you play against higher opponents. I love your content and your humor, “d4 is like jacuzzi for a horse” one of my favourite lines so far lol. Keep it up bro. Greetings from Italy

Fantastic job Alex! It’s all the nuances of different lines that black tries and your responses in the Jobava that make it interesting to learn. Your ideas on connected passers in that last game where things could have gone either way was worth learning. Keep pushing it on the rating climb. Excellent content. I appreciate you are pushing yourself to the wire on time too. Thank you!

I would absolutelly love more 2000-2500 + rating climb, it's really a treat to watch the middle and endgame which arise from the openings :) Actually helps a ton! I get a lot of winning positions against 2000-2100 oponents from the opening but mange to lose in the end due to not actually knowing how to convert or play a correct middle game.

This rating climb is fantastic, I feel we get so much info and it’s a great insight into high level chess, but I do feel I learn more at the start of a elo climb, just because all the moves are so much more relatable to me as a chess player xD Sorry that doesn’t really answer your question, I suppose either sticking with the high Elo or restarting would be good in my eyes!

I had the same impression over my development. I am 1600 now and it's really easy to stay 1600 and still improve. At the 1450-1550 range my rating fluctuated a lot. People just destroyed my openings. The most frustrating part was that I couldn't just 'play solid'. Now at 1600, I don't even have to focus to maintain my rating, because I just have to play slow and steady and they will make a blunder sooner or later and collapse. I don't understand how, but 1500s' blunders were more like missed tactics and in general bad play, 1600s play well and then hang their pieces simple and clean.

I just played Jobava against an FM OTB and he played the quick 3. c5 line to which is am supposed to respond with e3 according to Simon Williams' chessable course. However he totally doesn't look at the line where black plays Bg4 and then after f3 retreats to d7 which results in a horrendously equal position which is not fun to play. Anyway I am really well prepared in most lines of the Jobava but not so much this one, and the more I look at it I realize that probably responding 3. c5 with e4 is more fun. What will be in your course for this?

Quite enjoyable to watch the scramble with one minute of time left and more than half the pieces still on the board, however, I prefer the games with opponents below 2000 elo as it seems the opportunity, to gain more of the thought process behind your pawn push end game strategies, are available with more detailed explanations in the extra time.
