This game got me into AC. I can’t believe im saying this but have to say, with all the DLCs I tried hopping back into this game after putting 300hrs into it and I felt like there was sooo much to do.

I actually loved how long Valhalla was (one of the rare few) but man…the ending battle was so weak. For all of the territories you had to claim…that final battle should have been EPIC. Sprawling multiple castles, battlegrounds, etc. Like you had to make all these alliances just to settle it all in a village

Absolutely 💯 worth it. I had a 1080 ti when this came out in 2020. Now i have a better card, well worth it.

@@warthoggoulags1679 how is it better the only one that took out the hidden blade the most implying in the assassin creed franchise odyssey should’ve actually been called odyssey an assassins creed spin off you know cause there isn’t no hidden blade oh and let’s not forget that odyssey makes you grind the game to progress in the story theres no way you can keep you same setup from the start of odyssey

@@thorodinsson5684 Valhalla is as much assassin's creed as odyssey, it's also very grindy and wey too big and empty, while odyssey had a much better map wich was repetitive but not nearly as much as Valhalla. The rpg system was true rpg and actually enjoyable because you could make very op and fun builds from ordinary equipment while in Valhalla all equipment are unique and can just be upgraded, the random equipment of Odyssey was better. Yeah random equipment isn't good for an AC but it was good for an rpg game

I’m probably the minority on this but for me Valhalla is the best AC I’ve ever played. I absolutely loved it! I’m really into Vikings and Norway lore and this game was amazing. The references to Ragnar and Vikings show was great. Being a huge fan made this even better. I enjoyed the game play and graphics.

I have recently started a new game on the PS5, I really wish I would have originally gotten it on PlayStation instead of Xbox one, I have so many great skins for the raven and mounts. Would be cool to be able to bring it from Xbox to PS through your Ubisoft account.

They need to continue to expand the games indefinitely because I’m tired of starting out on the struggle bus for weeks before the game actually gets fun. It’s not worth it to me any longer. Two weeks of struggle for 4 weeks of fun is not agreeable. Expand the old games and upgrade the graphics as time goes on. They can make just as much money off of expansion as they can off of completely new games.

The only way i could play this was turning off all the assassins creed settings like vision and hud then just playing it as a viking game 8/10 but as a A.C game 2/10

As much as I don't want to admit it, I think I'm completely burnt out on Assassin's Creed. I used to consider myself a fan of AC, it was my favourite game series ever for a long time. I played all the games, but Origins was the last AC game I actually completed. I've tried over the years to complete Odyssey and Valhalla and no matter how much I try and force myself to play them, I just can't. The love I once had is Just not there. Then Mirage came out and I heard it was going to be a more traditional style of AC game, I tried it, but even then to no avail, the interest was just not there.

Sounds like you need a break man. Some times our interest in things over time decreases. When that happens with me, I just accept and move on to something else regardless of it being another game or something else entirely. Maybe that interest will come back, maybe it won’t. Nothing wrong either way I think so I don’t think you should try forcing yourself to play, life too short for that 😅. Are you playing any other games? I don’t blame you for burning out. There are too many AC games.

@@egontokessy1610 Yeah I've played other games. I'm a console peasant, and last year I bought my first PS. I played all the Uncharted games and absolutely loved them. Still need to finish the fourth one though. I've played Ghosts of Tsushima which again I absolutely love because it reminds me of the older style AC games. Yeah tried a bunch of games that I normally wouldn't. I was one of those kids who only played one games series for the most part, mine being Assassin's Creed and so I kind of felt like I had to keep playing the new games. Now don't get me wrong I'm not saying that the new games are necessarily bad, and I'm happy that people love and enjoy them, but I don't think they are for me anymore. Why exactly that is I can't answer. I tend to prefer smaller scale games, linear or open world with good quality stories, gameplay and just overall good quality. These are the games as I've gotten older I tend to enjoy and complete more often than not. I feel like Ubisoft have lacked in this department a bit to much, prioritising quantity or quality in some cases. But I guess it depends on how you view things.

@@Jordan-1999 I get you. It’s easy to get trapped into a specific genre or franchise of games. For me, last year my ps4 controller broke when I was still playing pre gen. So my flatmate was really nice to lend his switch to me. I fell in love with Nintendo games again both new and old. I started playing 2D and 3D Zelda and the demo of Metroid Dread which I’ve played a dozen times along with Fusion and Super Metroid. It was so much fun and got me out of my gamer apathy. It sounds like you’re doing something similar with the Uncharted series and Ghost of Tsushima. I too am a console peasant. If I could afford it, I would buy all next gen consoles, PC and even pre-gen for those games that don’t make it to next gen in a re release. What’s next on your list for new games to try? For me, my friend is lending me stellar blade, I played the demo, it’s such a beautiful gorgeous game in terms of environments and combat. I like its parry system. Not sure why though, feels different. Also looking forward to the AC Shadows announcement, I wonder if it will be like Tsushima.

@@egontokessy1610 I've got so many to try, both old and new. Insomniac's Spiderman games, Metro series and the Stalker series are a couple I'm looking into now. I've also been playing less known games like, Teardown, fun if you enjoy destroying things and messing about. To be honest though I watch more YT than play games. That's why I don't tend to play games which are like 60 to 100 hours long. I tend to prefer shorter games, because I feel like they are better done in general. I'm also trying to read more books. I don't know if my love of gaming is declining because of modern games or just my age.

I have 100 % on everything in Vallaha including all DLCs but the thing I hated a lot about this game is the claiming territories mission they were long and so repetitive.
