@sam666young2 жыл бұрын
What sort of maths is involved? And what level?
@annefieldhouse20202 жыл бұрын
@@sam666young there is always a scheduling question and a costings question, scheduling will involve knowing how to turn kilometres in to time, working out start and finish of a run which means knowing you WTD and DH inside out etc. Costings can be any thing from depreciation to percentages, ratios, tonnage CMR costing knowing how to calculate assets liability and anything that involves running a business. theses 2 sets of questions often mean a lot of good marks if you get the right and go a long way to getting a pass. if your good a math you'll be fine, however math is a week point for me and in the past worried about it. the tutors whoever you go with will help you get to grips with it. in the real world computers do most of this stuff for you now. its more a case of showing you understand it for the exam. if you want to become a transport manager. don't let it put you off. it can open opportunities. you don't need an HGV licence to do it anyone can.

From my research into being an owner operator it's defo better to do the exam and be your own TM. It works out cheaper in the long run as an external TM would likely be about £350/month for the first truck. Lots of people who get an external TM see it as a compliance tick box exercise, but having the knowledge from the course will help you run a successful business as the course isn't just about safety compliance etc.

Just a couple of observations; be careful of the EML light being on and the front cab air bags look like they're leaking. Luke. You really do need to speak to Customer Service at Honda UK and express the utter madness of one of their Main Dealers having your had your car for 2 months, and a potential 2 further months due to parts supply. A quality car should not have these kind of engine problems to start with, let alone charge you £5,500 to correct it. Tell them you want at least a £3,000 discount for loss of use, inconvenience, and stress caused by their faulty product. They have the power to treat this as a ‘policy claim’. Be very clear about your KZbin following, and the number of subscribers, sponsors etc. that are following the outcome of this repair on your programmes. If you don’t try, you won’t get.
