As a physical therapist, I like the creativity of these movements to engage multiple muscle groups. All glutes are hit maximus, medius and minimus , along with the major CORE muscle, the transverse abdominis. Using bands cuts down on injures, which is a hug plus. Excellent trainer.

What happens if on the day of competition you get your period, what happens if you bloat, would it affect you/performance? how do you manage?

most competitors lose tend their period cause they're in such big a caloric deficit for a long period of time so I don't think they deal with that issue

It does affect things...if they have a good coach most will not lose their periods...but it will cause a bit more bloat and a Lil water retention....it's all about having a good coach that understands women's cycles
