The LA four digit route numbers are really interesting.

In Texas, four-digit routes ARE farm-to-market roads, along with most three-digit routes above 400. Numbers often are clustered in certain areas. For example, FM 1015, 1016 and 1017 are in the Rio Grande Valley, along with FM 490, 491, 492 and 493 (FM 495 was upgraded to a state highway some years ago).

I am not sure why it was East 16 at the beginning, especially when it took a wrong-way concurrency on US 190 in Denham Springs! Should have stayed North from the end of video #826!

I think it should be East from beginning to end, rather than switching up several times. Kari used to make deliveries in the French Settlement area before cell-phone GPS was prevalent, and she was always confused about where she was.

And after you convince LDOT to tab the directions East consistently, we will send you to Tennessee to fix the turnaround on US 321 which has a North “terminus” in between two southern termini because they literally reversed the cardinal directions on it! How about west to east on this road as well?!
