Scandinavians Arne Nerjordet and Carlos Zachrison are highly regarded designers, textile artists and authors. They are best known for their craft books and their original, colourful and visually striking designs. So lovely! This is the best trip ever and I loooove the sheep and the fantastic yarn store. I love the rustic look and it is also so cozy. The lady is so nice and has a calm voice and is so gentle in her ways ..... wonderful. You guys, we have been baking and sweating here in Germany the past 2 weeks ( 36° C and more and very very humid) and I wish I could be travelling with you in the cooler realm of this earth. What a wonderful place this is, Lofoten! Must be paradise. :-)

Yes. The happier the sheep and the better they are treated, the better the quality of their wool.

I can't remember who or where.. but there is an island in Scotland where the sheep eat seaweed.. and that has a ? 'good effect' on the wool they make... and the people take the sheep out there for the winter and bring them home in spring.. (I think) xx

I like your vacation tour! I looked up Lofoten Wool on the Internet. The site has the option to translate into English, so that was good. Maybe Arne will show off his socks made from the black wool he bought at the shop? Storm? I like how life seems simpler on that island. The owner of the sheep and the wool shop's boyfriend has different sheep. They both shear their sheep, and sell plus dye some of the yarn. I liked how calm, and genuine the shop owner was. Good choice to visit her! On to Part 5!
