@Fritz Donnerschlag Ja - Bjørn ist Spitzenklasse 😎. Bjørn is right. A non-Tesla driver must have several apps and also many RFID cards - and you will still be in doubt if you are missing one more of these.

@@TheAlliput For a Dane, it is certainly not uncommon to use random German words in Danish sentences - but how common it is to mix German words into sentences in other countries I do not know. I think that Bjørn at one point has said about himself that he is half Norwegian, half Thai and half German 😁 as he has roots in all 3 countries.

Great episode Bjorn. Saw a Skoda Enyaq lurking in the background and I love the Model 3 parked at a fossil pump. Amazing views and love the midnight sun, shame the accommodation didn't live up to your expectation.

If you are tracking your Porsche, you are not getting PCCB brakes, as these are super expensive to replace and PCCB can be easily prematurely damaged by stuck stones/sand while on track and when overheated (which can be done one the track) they wear out very fast. PCCB are more heat resistant, but if these reach their temperature ceiling, they are done in short time. Steel items would generally recover after cool down lap and would be good for more....
@anydaynow01
@anydaynow01 3 жыл бұрын
Yeah it's pretty funny when you see the guys with the expensive rotors at a trackday and are running street tires with a few bolt ons. I've been getting the cheapest iron blanks I can get and use the money for a good set of pads and setting up some kind of brake cooling ducts or air deflectors, never had a problem with warping or off gassing.
@Rei_n1
@Rei_n1 3 жыл бұрын
@@anydaynow01 in complete agreement! Good steel brakes and an extra cooling is the way to go for amateur track use.
@wicccked
@wicccked 3 жыл бұрын
Agree. I specced steelbrakes because its cheap to replace after tracking the car. The PCCB dont really like salt as well, and they salt alot in Norway during winter. PCSB seemes to have some issues with failure after trackdays. Steel FTW. 😃

I never thought I’d say this but I think we have it way better in North America for charging for non Tesla because Electrify Canada and America are putting 150-350 Kw everywhere. So it’s not Supercharger network quality yet, but it looks better than what Bjorn is having to deal with!

remember that this is also northern Norway, it's very sparsely populated, even the south is by world standards, but the north even more so. . It doesn't have quite the same charging network as the south yet. But it's getting there.

Yeah it would be nice to have an app to rule all apps! Just one app that keeps track of the networks and makes payments easy, kind of like how you can check out with Paypal at most sights.
@apocrypth
@apocrypth 3 жыл бұрын
those kind of apps are chargemap, plugsurfing, etc. But for that "convenience" you pay usually far higher price, as all midlemen want some piece of cake too. Virta is kinda the same but they also provide backend for example also for E-On etc., but with Virta, you can charge on plenty of chargers too.
