What a fun and fabulous trip for you all! So glad you had a chance to come down here to the Kenai, & see our beautiful part of Alaska! The Kasilof River is just so gorgeous on those sunny days. Austin and I tell folks all the time, "Yes it really is that color!"💙Definitly got a good laugh at Lexxy with the slo-mo windy hair capture. I just got to say it usually isn't that windy down here. It has just been a bad year with wind...good news that meant there were a lot less mosquitos! 🙌

Tina, watching you braid Lexi’s hair reminded me of my momma…she was an expert braider, like my eyes would be pulled back it was so tight…I really miss her. Hey Tina, I have to tell you. You have inspired me in SO many ways and I now want to move to Alaska! My hubby is also retired military (28 years in Army and La. National Guard). Thank you to you and Joe for your service. He's been retired for a couple of years now and we haven't decided still where we want to plant our roots. I love the cold and I HATE this hot, humid, sticky weather here in Louisiana. I binge watch your videos and the more I watch, the more I want to move there. We are going on an Alaskan cruise next week and I know it's just going to give me the wants even more! We will be stopping in Ketchikan on one of the days, so where is a good place to eat lunch? Keep up the good work! You're the best!!! ❤😺

Beautiful scenery, rivers so pretty with the glacial silt giving them such gorgeous colors! So many fisher people there
@ruththomas63615 ай бұрын
I see you got corrected on the pronunciation. Ha. It's a Russian name as is common all over the state. I lived in Southcentral from 1964 through 1974. It was a much different place then. When I went fishing on the Kenai, we just threw our sleeping bags on the ground on an ait. There were fish skeletons all over the islet, but we figured the bears that left those would choose fish over our noisy selves. There are just way too many people living around there now to suit me, so I'm glad I lived there when I did. The last time I was up there was 1984 for a visit and even then it was SO different. The country is still very beautiful, though. It's just all the traffic and the people that gets to me. I am much happier living here in Sitka even with all the rain. But it sure is fun re-visiting the area through your videos! 🥰
