I have seen the Willie Nelson cover and was surprised because that's his son with him! A little clone, voicewise. John Fogerty has a couple clones as well. I think its Tyler that has a song about a little red truck.

definitely - in the meantime you can just put a capo on the 5th fret and do the same stuff :)

👋 hand raising...can I ask a question..... when Uke-Ing.....what is the finger nail situation on your strumming hand. .. ideally..? I have trouble “uke-Ing” without some kind of nail hardener on...am I being silly and soft ?

good question. My fingernails are very short :) I can't speak to the nail hardener situation however. I find my nails start getting in the way if there's more than just a little white on either hand for guitaring and uke-ing

I was wondering how your doing. How do you feel? Is there a new sense of freedom? That was not there before. Just curious! Guess I need to go get a Ukulele. You need to go explore the desert. Become the lizard king lol :) I’m excited about learning the Uku! How about “Dream a little dream” next! So are you done driving? Is that the suite you guys are staying in? Your Vibe seems “relaxed” I really hope this adventure is amazing for ya. Did you hear Kurt’s Cobain daughters song. That is a work in progress she posted on KZbin. I listen to it just to see if she was good. If she wrote those lyrics she has her fathers gift. Plus she can sing man! I was impressed.

I wouldn't say I feel a sense of freedom yet, as this driving with so many pets in the car is a hilarious/arduous/nervewracking activity, and it becomes a part time job once we get to a hotel! But I do feel an impending sense of freedom, which will arrive upon me tomorrow when I reach my sister's place :) I have not heard that song - can you share the link?? I didn't even know he had a daughter, some grunge fan I am!

Yea she was born in 93. Listen to the first lyric of the song! She posted it on the last anniversary of his death. They lyrics are good. She has a good voice . There is two of them this is the first one with her playing the guitar. She is like 26 I think? Named after Francis Farmer. She looks like her Dad. What's the easiest way to translate this to baritone uke? i know it's the same as 4 string guitar but i cant make it work in my brain.

well, if it is truly the same as the four strings on a guitar, then I suggest you put a capo on the 5th fret of the baritone uke and do exactly as I said, but five frets higher :) Your comment is my first experience with baritone uke! But now one is on my mental shopping list.

Yea man it would have been a pain in the ass carting plants with you. Probably would have died to be honest. Expecially with just a little bit of difference n climate. That a plant gets used to at first. Plus it probably would not have been a good idea. I do not like that cover By Wille and Brad Paisley lol. Oh I saw a guy selling baby turtles the other day on the side of rode. Reminded me of you:) A cop drove made him stop. I was at a stop light. I yelled out the window. Leave the guy a lone. He isn’t hurting anybody super cop. Lol The cop and the guy were looking around to see who said it. A few cars starting honking to join in. It was great!
