It seems to have been a really good trip and you`ve done an excellent job editing it explaining what you`ve been doing and what your next plan have been, not to mention the music and filming (from different angles.. must have been quite a job...) both at daytime and nighttime. It looked so nice and cozy to camp outside at the horse corral next to the campfire with the stars shining bright above you in the dark of the night. I`ve also camped outside during winter time in similar conditions and I cherish those memories. I rememeber all the stars in the sky, the silence and the smell of the campfire and how good the coffee (made on the campfire) would taste in the morning. Hopefully I`ll do something similar again. Thanks for putting so much effort into this video and sharing it for everyone to see Matt. Great job 👌💛💛

Thank you so much friend :) It does take some work to get it to be the way I want it to be. the cool thing about it is the way I film the adventure is the same way learned to film when I worked on that show, so when I follow the right format for moving the camera around, I'm able to capture the adventure in real time :) and it makes editing a lot easier. though it is still time consuming. however it helps a lot that I fiend it a lot of fun to do :)

Hi Matt 😊 I can tell you put a lot of effort into it and that´s good when you have lots of fun doing it 🤗 (I`m glad you at least can put into use skills you learned on the show) I`d love to learn more about filming and editing too, and it would be so cool to get a GoPro camera ☺️ Thank you for taking your time to comment back and I look forward to your next adventure video. Have a good Saturday 💛 Your friend Sigrid

I had forgotten about the flashback, it worked really well! What a journey you took us on. I had lesson in cutting or chopping wood properly- Really interesting, I didn't know that. You repurposed the barbed wire as a cooking tool. Wish I could see the stars here but in Great Britain we can't see them due to the sky hiding them, not being clear even when really dark. Have to visit a planetarium to get the idea of a proper night sky. What a journey finishing beautifully, thank you for taking us all along

maybe you can find a downed tree to use for some substantial firewood instead of just branches and get the cabin warm enough to not see your breath. and leave some by the stove so your next trip in, you will already have something to get a toasty fire with.

Hi Matt, the flashback worked perfectly ⬅️🙂👍 and I enjoyed your last part of the Road Wanderer (I called it Road Warrior at times in previous parts 😅 lol) very much. The scenes when you're waking up made me laugh 😆 You look like a little mole that is peaking out of its molehill :D and you desperately need coffee to start functioning 😄 lol. The way you're treating the beautiful cabin is so wonderful. Like a real treasure and that's also how it shines when you're leaving it. The blue sky, no clouds, the sunshine and the white snow looked so beautiful and the views, wow 😯 I asked myself how far you were able to see across all these mountains in the very distance... I can imagine how incredible the stars must have looked like without any artificial light from anywhere around you 😍 I spent a few nights outside in New Zealand in a Dark Sky Reserve and I couldn't believe the night sky 🌠 I went to a planetarium there to learn about the southern hemisphere and got the chance to look through different telescopes. I will never forget all the incredible things I got to see. I didn't spot the USS Enterprise unfortunately 🛸 ;) It felt like a very peaceful trip back down the mountain and I really liked how you were preparing for and spending the night in the old horse corral. The chicken must have been so good, great idea with the wire 👍I love how you're always thanking your friends in and around Loomis and us following your adventures from behind the screens 🥰 Not all those who wander are lost🙏... Your dad is incredibly proud of you, I'm so sure of it ❤ Thank you Matt for all the effort and passion you've put into this video as usual. Now I'm looking forward already to your next adventure on Chopaka mountain ⛰🏚🤗 Good night from here Matt, your friend, Silke 🙋🏼‍♀️🌌

I'm so jealous I've always wanted to go to New Zealand :) I have friends who live in Australia and I hear it is amazing :) I too wonder when I'm on Chopaka, how fare Ican see in miles, it feels like I can see the edge of the Earth sometimes :) Thank you for your comment my friend. I needed this lol :) And calling it Road Warrior is an awesome compliment for me :) I grew up thinking my world was more like that than the real world lol I'm glad you liked the wire great for the chicken, I always try to figure out how to make what I need out of what I have, and it sure worked out well 👍 and yes the chicken was very good :) I'm actually working on editing the next adventure now, in this one we get to do some exploring, and I think y'all guys will enjoy it :) thanks for being a good friend Silke Your friend Matt

Hi Matthew! This was awesome! I really love seeing where you live with all the mountains and snow! I think you did a wonderful job editing! One of my undergraduate degrees is in theatre production, and within that, I did film production, so I think you did a great job! I really think the music fits the video well too! Something I really really love is the stars out in the countryside. Where I live you have to go out a bit to get away from the ambient light. However, you don't have to go too far. I go out late late at night sometimes on a no moon night with my camera and shoot some star trails, I'm big into astrophotography, its very calming and satisfying. The long exposures on the camera show the stars trailing as the earth moves. I haven't gone out recently, but I hope to soon and get some historic structures in the foreground. Your video made me think the cabin would be a great subject for that! Anyways, the horse corral does look super old! I love anything old, haha! Thank you so much for sharing with us! -Palmetto preservation

Love your attitude and wish you all the best! I keep hoping you’ll stumble on a set of wheels and built yourself an ATS All Terrain Sled Slight curve or angled front to lift it up over snow banks and add wheels that are hinged the axle can keep them together under the sled making it a cart…pull out the axle-fold those wheels down onto the sled (narrow) use as sides (narrow) or even open to enlarge the sled area to very wide

The mountain has a way of keeping us in the present which is a great tool for reflecting on ones life and what really is important. I can't wait to get some time to come visit the legend and enjoy some big fat steaks on the bbq. Keep up the great adventures and I'm hoping by part 10 you might find some antler drops to add to the legends collection. I have a few that I found in the areas of your trek! Take care my friend, Matty Jack

Matt this was an absolutely amazing video from the music to editing you have come some far! I hope this isn't the end of your viideos, it has been so meaningful to watch you grow and be independent along with your sobriety without that none of this would be possible. Its been so much fun watching you! Stay 💪 one day at a time!😊 P.S. where ever your life journey takes you may god always walk with you. 🙏

Hi Matthew! Watching this last wanderer video again! I became curious, what is your back tattoo of? You don't have to share that I was just curious. Whenever I meet people with very interesting body art, and I feel comfortable enough with them to ask, I love asking what it means because it usually reveals a very cool life story! Or reveals it's a symbol or something they made up or love. I've seen some really awesome ones, I have some friends who made up their own! Yours all look awesome! -Your friend Lisa from the Palmetto State 🌴🌸
