This video could/should be much more clear about where you place the jack stands, as that is an extremely important aspect of the installation. The rear leaf springs need to hang freely, which is not possible if you place your jack stands under the rear axle, which many people may assume based on this video. At a seemingly random section of the video, it is mentioned that the leaf springs need to be in "their maximum arch position", but that is it. For anyone looking to perform this install, the floor jack needs to be lowered with the jack stands placed on the truck frame, as shown in the video around the 1:28 mark. Just seems like something that should really be highlighted by the manufacturer in their installation video.

If you read the instructions that come with it, it does tell you all that but I totally get what you are saying based off of the video.

I’ve had these on my 2015 F150 for two years now. Absolutely love them. I have the 5.0 coyote with a performance tuner. And I haul a lot. Also go off road often. What a great difference. I highly recommend them!

Just installed this on my 2015 f150 Platinum and it made a world of difference. I have a 2’’ inch leveling kit on my truck so any load made my bed sag with my boat hooked up. Not any more I actually gained about 2 inches on the rear and my trailer is now riding level like my truck.

What is the bump stop spacer for? My kit didn't come with that for a 2019 F150.

I have been researching and researching for something to help with my suspension on my Chevy 1500 LT. I pull a 34ft travel trailer that we just purchased a month ago. I am a Retired Firefighter on a budget and we just got back in to traveling with our RV since we are now retired. I am saving up for this product and once I have enough to purchase it, I will make a video on the product to let you know my results but I do believe this will help us big time with the ride of our truck and travel trailer. It would be AWESOME if your company sent me one and I will do a GREAT REVIEW of the product. It doesn't hurt to ask. Thanks again and looking forward to doing a review for you...

How do you determine what hole to put the bar on? Does it matter what hole it’s installed in?

Will the standard duty RAS add any rear height on the F150?
@Wuzu262 жыл бұрын
It added about 1” to my unloaded height. Depending on which kit you buy and what spacer you use it will vary.

I'm using a set of Timbren suspension and they work great when under a load but for my daily driving around the city they aren't very effective. My truck bounces a lot around corners and does this side skip thing....and i absolutely hate it. How effective are these RMS for daily use? Thanks for the info.

What am I missing. Without RAS, my F150 with a very small 2900 lb. camper will squat 2-3/8". With RAS adjusted to black 2mm gap squats 2-1/4". Which is an 1/8" improvement in squat, basically nothing. All it looks like this thing does is raises the unloaded height of your rear end by 1.5". So that the essentially unaffected squat doesn't look so bad when loaded. Why not just get a significantly less expensive 1.5" lift kit and save yourself $500? RAS is effectively a significantly more expensive and more complex way of doing the same exact thing. What am i missing? Otherwise this complete waste of money is going back with bad reviews.

LOL...jacking a truck up by the diff. Not only does the F150 service manual tell you not to do it but you never want to jack up a truck by the diff.
