I just installed a set of these on my 2021 Silverado 1500 Duramax and am super impressed.

I found that the only thing this video leaves out is to manually turn the threaded rod to make it longer. I felt like I bought the wrong kit at first and spent 20mins looking for the solution. Otherwise super easy to install and didn't change the normal ride quality. Haven't tested it with my loaded trailer yet, so we'll see how it does.

Uhh, yeah! It's not nearly long enough as it comes out of the box! Had me worried

This raised the back end by an inch. Will that adverslly affect my front end alignment?

So it’s basically like adding an extra spring/leaf or two without all the work.

Do not use an impact driver to tighten it up. It will pop the little hex out of the end of the black rod . also mine needed a 22mm, a 19mm wrenches, and a 12mm socket

Does it lift the truck any at all?

Putting your finger between the leaf spring and the jack stand for a demonstration is so incredibly dumb

If you are here for instructions and tools needed. Don’t waste your time. He completely leaves out the torx bit you need and half ass shows how to install this. On a Silverado, get ready for about a half hours worth of turning the open end wrench if you don’t have the torx bit because you are not squeezing in that 14mm socket on this truck. And god only know ls where they pulled that 15/16 wrench out of. That sizes fit’s nothing on this install. Etrailer video is far better.
