Hey nothing to say about this video but just wanted to say that I love your work. Unlike many other motorcycle vloggers who seem to be more preoccupied with hot air or unentertaining videos where they're constantly swearing and riding recklessly (for popularities sake no doubt) you actually talk about worthwhile topics. I always come away feeling like I've learned something after watching your videos, never feels like I just wasted my time. Keep doing what you're doing!

great video! I saw a Diavel this summer at a bike show, I ended up going to a dealership and test ride.. well I was impressed with with it to the point that I bought a Diavel, a st2 sport touring, and a 916.. lol I had been riding Harley Davidson motorcycles for about 14 years and I still like them but these Ducati are definitely impressive, fun bikes! The bug has bitten and I'm completely hooked.

Wish we in Australia had the sort of learner training you have in the UK - here in NSW its about 1 1/2 hrs total time on the bike (ever, in my case! and I d never driven a manual car either) then pass your written test and you can buy a Ducati Monster on your Ls lol. No individual instruction whatsoever.

zhukie I admit to watching Ozzy worse drivers videos and the one thing I'm always struck by is how good the drivers actually are so they must be doing something right! I just turned 50, today, and even I, a seasoned biker, ride like a total wanker every now and then. It's just something about being on a bike ;)

Thanks. I've come to realise over the years there are sometimes several ways of achieving the same goal but some techniques are totally wrong and potentially dangerous and just because someone's done something without a bad result, doesn't mean it's not a time-bomb waiting to happen. hi Russ i can tell the amount you love your bike simply it sound nice etc and repeating that the like the bike over and over lol my instructor refers the emergency stop into a "controlled stop" at the time of my lesson it was autumn and had the leaves all over the practice area and told me to go carefull on the brakes by gradually applying pressure but quickly i dont what it is with me but minute i pull the front brake i always pull the clutch in too aat the same time

Only just subscribed to your vids, I love them all so far. I'm also a m/c instructor in N Wales and like looking for useful bits I can 'leech' (hope you don't mind?!), what I really like about yours is you don't come across as an infalable know all and even point out your own minor errors and your delivery is excellent I cringed when I saw Jeff's 'off' but felt a bit better about an identical one I had only the guy broke his collar bone, it was comforting to know it didn't only happen to me!

Pretty good explanation of breaking, good point to make that your front brake has the most stopping power between the front and rear ABS or no ABS. Any new rider should go through a motorcycle safety class to learn what each of them does in a safe area. That is one beautiful bike, great lines!

The thing about riding a bike is that, unless you've done it, you'll never understand why we love it so much. Yes, it's cold sometimes, it's wet often and people try to kill you, but find that special road on a good day and there is nothing like it. Nice video :)

My SH300 has convinced me on ABS. I used to think it was a nice to have, something that got more money out of the safety conscious. Now, I don't want a bike without it. It's almost impossible to trigger in the dry except in full-on emergency braking, while airborne, or on gravel roads. In the wet, I can think of several occasions in London where I had to slam on the anchors, and drifted sideways as I slowed. The ABS is so confidence-inspiring it both encouraged me in *and* got me out of danger.
