Recently RoadflyTV took the gorgeous and luxurious 2011 Mercedes E550 Cabriolet for a test drive. This convertible turned tons of heads with its aggressive stylings and super-fast V8 engine.
Competitors of this beautiful convertible include droptop versions of BMW 3-series and the Infiniti G37 or even the Audi A5, which perhaps retain a little more sportiness in their driving characteristics.

So comparing an e class to a 3 series....in interior build quality and acceleration.... well the e550 starts at around 70 grand and the 335 starts at like 40k....so unfair comparison...try a 650i

@aquaphoenixx well a 650i cabrio starts at $85,550. While the coupe starts at $78,450. The E550 coupe starts at 55,450 and the E cabrio $64,800. Its much faster than the 650i at 5.1seconds with the E550 cabrio and the Bmw coming at 5.3?

Very impressive vehicle...but I have to admit the gas mileage turns me off. Even if I had the money to buy a mercedes I think I would get something a little more fuel efficient. 15 miles to the gallon through the city is a no no. Great car still!
