I think there can truly be seamless transfer to an extent and probably gain even more viewers. You have an entire generation of people right now who rarely, if ever watch mainstream TV. We all loved the show, an more importantly we liked it because we saw ourselves in you and Fin. We saw you guys living out stuff we wanted to do with our buddies but either couldnt afford or didnt have the time. This video is 2 hrs old and has 7k likes lol, your fans are here man and will be!

To this day and forever, my absolute FAVORITE episode on any of the shows, was when you and Freiburger stopped by your parents’ store on the road-trip in the Crusher Camaro. The unbridled reaction of your Dad when you pulled up to him checking the mail: “Sonofabitch! I’ll be damned! How are you, Son? You are the last person on the planet I expected to see today.” You could hear his smile before you could see it. If you got nothing else out of Roadkill, Mike, that visit with your Dad was worth it all.

Hi Mike. I'd been avoiding leaving a comment for years but finally it seems now is a better time than any. I worked as a Post Production Edit Lead for Velocity and then currently with MotorTrend as my client including through the joint-venture and merger. But before that, I was a avid fan of Roadkill back in college in 2012 and 2013 before working at Discovery. I had the opportunity to pick which network I wanted to work with, and Velocity was my choice. Since I was the one of the few people with familiarity of your show, I was excited to lead the edits in the bay and keep the soul of the show intact as much as possible while potentially bringing it to a larger audience (before El Segundo took over editing for TV). As a fan, I'm glad it continued for as long as it did. We also lost a lot of talent on our side during this whole ordeal, so it wasn't uni-directional (large debt from the merger to make WBD), and I was never at the level to get advance knowledge or any sort of input just to be clear - just a cog in a larger machine. I wish you, David, and the other hosts and crew the best and will look forward to this being a stepping stone in a hopefully much larger future story! PS. I also agree that the first incarnation of the Rotsun was the best :)

I just want to say thank you to you and Freiburgern. I'm a 50 yo female with 3 now adult daughters. We all started watching Roadkill years ago. Watching you guys and similar shows inspired our daughters to learn about cars. I was never more proud than when our girls announced they wanted tools for holiday gifts and then went on to learn to maintain their vehicles and use those tools. All of that was inspired by the entertainment and antics of Roadkill. I still find myself pausing and asking my husband what something means, thus learning more about how things work than I'd have learned otherwise. So thank you for the entertainment and the education and for inspiring my girls to take care of their cars themselves, thus not having to be at the mercy of others. It's a special kind of freedom when you know how to fix your own car. Best of luck in what you're doing. Whoever you guys end up, we will be following.

As I was sitting through 5-6 hours getting my treatments I would watch all the iterations of your shows, RK, RKG, HRG, Faster and Engine Masters, which made each day of feeling crappy not so bad. They say laughter is the best medicine, and that is very true. You guys made me laugh my ass off with your antics and banter was very entertaining and enjoyable. My second son was born August of 2020. My wife and celebrated New Year’s Eve in a children’s hospital five hours from home. We celebrated our anniversary in that same hospital in February. Finally going home that March. Roadkill, among other shows, helped pass the time while I held my son keeping him comfortable so my wife could work. I’d set the iPad on a table next to the recliner and we’d enjoy hours of episodes. He was hooked to all sorts of tubes and wires. Test after test came back “normal”. He was finally confirmed to be one of five children known in the world with an unnamed genetic disorder. Now four, he is unable to walk or talk. But he can make sounds. Laugh and giggle. He is on a feeding tube. He loves the sound of engines and will spend hours with me in the shop. Often found napping in front of the wood stove. I can’t thank you guys enough for helping us get through a very difficult time. You’ve inspired us to get out and do cool stuff with our junk. Hope to see you at a live event someday 🙏🏼

Currently working on reviving an old vw type3 squareback but there's also a coe van and a ¾ ton 4x4 truck potentially brought in as new projects and mini projects out of vehicles that are beyond rebuilding. Most of what I'm working with is abandoned vehicles but that's what I prefer as bringing life to forgotten dreams. I'm by no means good at it but I found a hobby I can turn into a passion because of you guys. Thank you so much for being the joyous inspiration that brought me so much happiness. I've been watching Roadkill since Episode 1. I don't remember how I found it when it came out, I was 12, and watched it religiously throughout my teenage years, and it defined who I am and who I became in the world. It made me realize that the 20+ vehicles rotting away in my fathers yard don't all need to be restorations, but rather, something I can slap together and have fun with as is. I met you back in around 2015 I want to say, or whenever you had first built the first painted version of Blasphemi. You brought it out to the Pomona Swap meet, and signed a hat I had, the only thing I had on me at the time, and spent time with this 14 or 15 year old kid talking about your Hemi 55. I never forgot it, and now I am 24, with my own KZbin channel, hoping to create half the content you and the other guys put out, because I have to. Car guys, enthusiasts, we don't choose this life. I was born into it, my father being in the Ford Performance Parts and Cougar business since the 1970's, it took me a long time to realize that what I really wanted to do when I grew up, was build cool cars, and make friends while doing it. I wish you all the best, and hope that you all can continue with new and interesting content for as long as you WANT. And we all get the benefit of watching. Thank you so much, from all the fans, especially that 14 year old that got to see his hero and the car he built, and was not let down. You guys have something very few have. Good Luck, and here's a quote for you that I still live with every day, from the speed businessman himself, Carroll Shelby, "Every morning I wake up with new ideas" #Roadkillforever

I went to the first roadkill event at Tucson Dragway with my dad. I got the OG roadkill shirt and hat signed by you two and got to have a cool conversation. Funny thing is there was literally a dead coyote right by the entrance to the drag strip. I thought that was the best thing haha. That rat rod Jeep was built by my uncle when he was a teenager in my Grandpa’s backyard. I thought it was awesome seeing it on roadkill! Sad the show is gone, but excited to see what is to come with the KZbin freedom all of you guys have now. Good luck and keep the fun automotive spirit alive!

DUDE I remember watching stubby Bob rip that wheely the day it aired! My co-workers and I would watch road kill every week on our lunch breaks. Literally every episode. I remember we all cheered that day way to loud by accident while we watched in the break room when the wheely happened. What a great time. That scene in the intro took me back to that man.

You guys were my biggest inspiration to start making my own videos for KZbin. The automotive space is totally saturated with supercars and million horsepower builds, it was so refreshing to see 2 regular guys wrenching on hoopties with no schtick, no agenda, just having fun. Your content is more accessible, very relatable, it inspired me to start rolling camera.

When Ryan Brutt asked me if I wanted to join him in the first Roadkill RoadTrip after Woodward, I said YESSS, Might be the first and only one and better go. Hung out all week, and saw episodes of RoadKill being filmed and open doors to companies such as Holley, Comp, Painless to see the works. A great adventure with you VIPs! What a great week hanging out with the entire crew. I met Dave and Wes on the 2006 HRPT when I was the front car of a line of cars down the Blue Ridge Parkway for a Photo Op. Thanks for all of the great content Mike and Dave and all that were involved the entire run of published and unpublished episodes. Rob del Rosario 70 Challenger R/T and Challenger Pace Car.

Finnegan, from the 80s-90s mini truck days (Resoloutions anyone?) through to Roadkill, you have created fun, automotive content. I've happily absorbed a great deal of it, and intend to continue that as long as you post content. I hate that another one of my favorite things to watch will be (is?) no more. Mostly, I hate that everyone has lost their jobs, and so close to the holidays to boot. I hope everybody lands on their feet. Can't wait to see what you cook up next. And, for the record, the Rotsun with the race V6, would be absolutely epic. Glad we could all be part of the RoadKill ride. Cheers

I bought a 1988 Grand Wagoneer that was SBC swapped, was someone's abandoned project, and it barely ran. I was in way over my head but I jumped in with both feet, I learned how to work on it on the fly. It's now so reliable I use it as a daily driver to work every week. It's been eternally rewarding and I never would have done it if it wasn't for roadkill. I've been watching since the beginning and its remarkable the impact it's had on me. Thank you Fin. You changed my life.

I'm 9 days late to the comment party, but here I go: You, Mike, are more or less personally responsible to what I've been up to in my spare time for the past 8 or 9 years. After randomly watching a Hagerty stop-motion video featuring a rebuild of an MG engine, I let autoplay roll with the next video, and the next video started with a '68 Charger sliding to a stop in front of a camera, and you were there saying "In this episode of Roadkill, we rebuild a '68 Charger using use motorhome parts!" That video had my attention for the next 40 minutes, and thus my addiction to KZbin as an alternative to regular TV began. In that same episode, I heard about the Monaco that was used to race in Lemons, and I was like "What's Lemons?". So I looked up the episode where the Monaco was taken to a 24 hours of Lemons race, and now I'm a Lemons race driver (kinda, almost). Then I saw the video about the Lemons Rally (probably the closest you recorded to my house) and I was like, "I can do that, too!" and now I go on Lemons Rallies whenever I can. Later on (2018 or 2019), I met you in person at the Carlisle Ford show, and I asked you to deliver a Freiburger Pilsner beer mug to David. Then I took ErictheCarGuy to dinner later that same day. I've done a lot of fun stuff thanks to all the KZbin I consume, and I figure I have you and David to thank for all that. So thanks, Mike. I've been watching yours and Tony's and David's and Lucky's and everyone else's KZbin shenanigans and I look forward to what everyone's doing next.

(I’ve always said that OG TopGear, Grand Tour, and Roadkill are my favorite shows). 2 - I am so sorry it’s over, but I’m SURE you will land on your feet. (Not even that you have been knocked down, you seem to have done well getting a solid channel built and merch as well). Roadkill is the only car show that can exist without constantly being compared to Top Gear/The Grand Tour, and has created a whole new genre. To me, it will always be on par with those shows. I have to mention MCM as one of the all time greats and for predating Roadkill, who are still going strong. Absolute legends and the episode with them is still one of the greatest. We're going to miss this format but I'm so happy all the MotorTrend hosts have YT channels.

I enjoyed the programs not only for the content, which was classic, but for the fact that we got to watch every host do something they enjoyed and have fun with that. That is what made the programs. So many years ago, I ran across a video on KZbin that has been posted for a week.. Video was a couple guys doing something so stupid as buying a car they knew nothing about, wrenching, driving it across states. It was insane. My son watched it with me, we both got into it, started watching every episode that was posted, every episode once it went to MotorTend. That show, was Roadkill. It gave me something my son and I could do together, enjoy, talk about, get outside and wrench on our own cars. I know everything comes to an end, but I was in no way ready for this. I hope you and David can find happiness, achieve greatness, and find a way to keep doing things you love. I wish you guys nothing but love.
