I have the Ciro light fillers and bag Bezels and there really make you more visible and look great. I have a new 2020 RKing with a heap of extras and put New ceramic Coated headers, High flow air cleaner and throttle body, Screaming Eagle Mapping, vance and Hines slip ons and a Stage 2 Torque cam...Believe me it rips, getting 110 foot pound torque. Also put the Tall Boy seat, much more room for me, Kuryakyn Highway pegs, ISO Grips. chrome this and that etc etc...The King does it all
@StevyFaux4 жыл бұрын
That’s one of the best things about Harley’s. They way you can make them your own. I have heard that the cam makes a big difference with the M8. The Roadking is the best of all worlds.

@edredBryan4 жыл бұрын
Great looking RK...blue is my favorite color & those chrome fork covers make an awesome difference. I recently came across a 2005 Road King that I really like but from I've read that year still had the cam tensioner problems. My reading says as of 2011 and forward that problem was resolved. Any advice for buying an older Road King...I need to start back that far so I can afford one (smile). Ride safe. Be well.
@StevyFaux4 жыл бұрын
E. Conway I had an 06 ultra for 11 years. Never had cam tensioner problems. But when I bought it the put the hydraulic tensioners on it. The cam tensioners aren’t that bad to fix, I think it’s like 600 bucks maybe, the problem is if you don’t catch it right away it takes out the cam bearings. I think that gets expensive. But if your going to go new make sure you get the Rushmore frame. That makes a big difference. Nothing wrong with buying used he’ll Harley’s run forever. But be patient and buy the one that has the mods done that you like. That will save a bunch of money. Handlebars and pipes are expensive and finding one that some already put the money into just gives you more money for other stuff. Thanks for watching. Let me know if I can help or if you have any other questions.

@StevyFaux5 жыл бұрын
M Brown both are awesome. I just depends if you want to do a bunch to it or if you want most of it done already. You don’t really have a lot of choices with the special other than blacked out.

@@StevyFaux when I look at yours, I kind of like a little chrome too. It was because of your bike that I am having a hard decision of going special or not. I think yours is the 103 correct? I've heard the 107 motor is better for Modz then the 114

Yes mine is a 103. I did hav a Harley tech tell me today that if your going to go M8 get a 2020 cause they finally figured out the oil pump.

I don’t understand the Road King. From a marketing standpoint. You can get a big bagger with some wind protection for “better” touring. You can get a soft tail with similar bags for slightly less money with a lighter; possibly more nimble chassis. All that being said I almost just traded my Fat Bob for a ‘21 road king in a black jack paint job that looks absolutely amazing. Edit: the deadwood green also looks fantastic on this bike.
@StevyFaux3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching. For me I want the Roadking cause I want the touring frame but I won’t want the big fairings or a radio or all the gauges. I want the option of stripping down the bike dealing the wind on my chest and still having the bags that hold 20lbs a piece. I could put a fairing on and still have it removable. You don’t have that option with the Roadglide and Electraglides. I still have the 6 gallon tank and the ride of the touring bike with the ability to feel the wind on a hot day. And they are very nimble and the Roadking is cheaper than the heritage. I’m not saying you should have traded your FatBoy in cause the I personally love the fatboy also. I also like the deadwood green. They have a couple new colors that I really like. Thank you for weighting in. You made some great points. 👍
@TeensierPython3 жыл бұрын
@@StevyFaux it’s off season right now. I always forget how much I like the bike I already have until I get back on it. Grass is always greener. The road king speaks to me and in the right color with everything blacked out it’s hard for me to say no. I am a shrimp so the touring bikes get pretty big for me. Never rode one though. I’d probably love it and buy one for sure. I rode my fatbob down the street and turned around. The sales lady thought I didn’t like it. Rode it home that night in a rain storm.

It no longer matters. The HD motor company can not just lower prices. We now have access to Harley corporate balance sheets. This motor company in the red by almost 500 million. They are forced to sell bikes with substandard parts, just to generate the "shop-income" in some veil attempt to service some of these loans. This company in such a death spiral, is now only a matter of time before the banks start calling them in on some of these loans.........
