Stunning car! However, GM, in the beginning should have stepped up the game in the interior....it is just okay. Look at its competitor the 2019 Genesis G90(just released pics and video), the interior is S class, Lexus quality, and I'd say even nicer.

Very nicely styled. If Cadillac added mechanical buttons and knobs for infotainment & HVAC controls, I'd definitely consider buying one. Touch controls are ok for our smartphones. Touch controls are dangerous in cars and in my opinion, should be outlawed. Touch controls require drivers to take their eyes off the road much more than mechanical controls, making the Touch controls dangerous.

@@B-H76 Hmm...well the looking at the Mercedes E class that is similar in price...the E43 I see a lot more exterior color choices as well as 7 options for interior wood or metal trim Then we have features such as Air body control, active dynamic seat bolsters, heated front armrests and upper door panels, quilted leather interior and much better interior finish than the CT6...along with enhanced safety systems that the Cadillac doesn't have Then there is the fact that the E43 would out handle the Ct6 handily in corners and stopping Then we can talk about that resale that is going to fall like a stone on the Ct6 How much is that discontinued Ct6 going to be worth in 3-4 years?

I drive two Mercedes including a CLS, and have a classic Ferrari too. I always, ALWAYS insisted on an XTS from the car rental places when I come to the States. I saw prototype CT6s doing their paces in Death Valley in the summer of 2016. The first thing I could never understand is why they kept in production both the CT6 and XTS, as they evidently overlapped. Now I hear that they are both being cancelled. For someone who hates SUVs, and loved the pedigree that Cadillac has, that's a shame IMHO.

Don’t let the outside fool you, had this car for a week as my 17 cts was in a big service. Rattles from the dash and really stiff suspension. The audio system even with the top of the line Bose Panerai was not that great lacking bass. With reliability snd depreciation, i will never buy a cadillac again.

Under no circumstances should you ever buy a Cadillac. I used to work for Brotherton Cadillac in Renton WA. I currently own a 2017 Cadillac CTS premium luxury 3.6 AWD. And I can tell you for a fact that you will regret having spent your money with this brand. The biggest problem Cadillac has is the after purchase experience. Unless you have a sales rep who is an absolute All Star and willing to go above and beyond at every turn whenever anything goes wrong you will not be able to depend on the brand or the dealership to maintain the luxury car experience post purchase. BMW Mercedes and Audi all maintain a higher user experience throughout the life of the new car warreny at a bare minimum. People who have never dealt with luxury brands may not know exactly what I'm referring to, but those whom have will recognize the lack of understanding present in the Cadillac brand immediately. It does not shock me at all that they are terminating so many nameplates in the coming year. That is because those Customers who have made the mistake of assuming they were dealing with a luxury car brand quickly learn the error of their ways and move on to greener pastures even if it means spending more money. You buy the car once you have to live with the car every single day. And there is simply no amount of savings worth the missing luxury experience. You shouldn't have to fight with the dealership to get a Cadillac as a loaner car when you drop your car off for service. You shouldn't have to fight with the dealership to have parts that are under warranty replaced when they are discovered to have material defects. You are almost always buying a Cadillac from a dealership that is tied in some way to one of the lesser brands Buick Chevrolet even GMC . And because of this you end up having a Buick experience buying a Cadillac instead of those who buy buicks having a Cadillac experience. This doesn't happen with BMW Mercedes and Audi because those stores are not tied to Their lower brands. No one buying an Audi ever feels like they just purchased a Volkswagen beetle. Heed my warning, if you spend your money with Cadillac you will live to regret it.

As I also believe it is entirely possible to have bad experience at a Mercedes BMW or Audi dealership. But the chances that people have your experience with Cadillac versus the chances that people have my experience with Cadillac are not leaning positively and Cadillac's favor. And as someone who not only purchased a car but also worked for the Brand directly. I can tell you that Cadillacs numbers when it comes to sales are a direct reflection of the ideology of the people that work there. It is not as though the brand does not offer the seem Level of luxury as the other highline brands. It is the people they are that make the difference. It's the exact same reason Hyundai I tried to separate their Genesis brand from the Hyundai dealerships.

I can't believe they switched the CT6 2.0t to the new one used in XT4.. the power numbers before were "wow, that's not all that bad.. i'll just have to get over the sound".. now the numbers seem kind of underpowered and judging from the reviews of the XT4 the responses of this 2.0t are dulled compared to it's predecessor. sad. Sad all around that they're killing this car after it's design has finally reached it's stride.
