I finally passed the first time ! I didn't need unlimited times! Just go over that pamphlet and learn those signs!! Repetition is key!! I did it all on my own. But if you can have help do that too

I took my driving test on the 23rd and I passed it. I was really nervous and that's totally normal just make sure to stay focus. As long as you follow the speed limits, don't forget to put your signals on/off, remember to check your blindspots before changing lane, stop before the pedestrian lane and move forward slowly to see incoming cars, don't get too close to the car in front of you, and always check your surroundings then you should be fine.

i passed my road test two days ago with a perfect score and wanted to share some tips that really helped me out. stay calm, show some confidence, focus on the task at hand, take your time and initiate some small talk with your examiner to leave a good impression if you're comfortable with that (like in this video). i cried for several days before my road test from the build up of anxiety so if i can do it, you can to (ka-chow lol)

I double this advice. Leading up to the test the anxiety gets real, but I went in with a mindset of stay calm and cool. When the examiner got in my passenger seat he asked me two things, are you nervous, and any questions. I said no, and the anxiety I felt disappeared that instant. The test really is a character exercise to push yourself out of that comfort zone and get the job done with confidence, IMO.

I failed my test because of one hidden stop sign! There was 3 signs in front of it and my instructor was coughing. @@simarbaaz277 yeah 3 months is okay but it all matters if you're confident that you know how to drive remember you have 3 trys so take the 1 test how you usually drive and if you fail it will tell you what you need to work on but if you feel like you got it go for it

Going for my second try tomorrow. I had a really rude guy for my first test and he smoked 2 cigarettes before getting in the car with me and he was barely paying attention to me, on his phone more than half the time and being extremely rude. He also gave me very sudden directions. He made me so nervous and shaky so I hope it’s better tomorrow. I got failed for tapping the curve on my parallel park UPDATE: I PASSED YAY

@@SooDestinee I got a different instructor the second time, she was from around where I lived and her kids went to my school. She was so nice and talked me through things and explained to me what I did wrong and how to fix them. She was so good I liked her a whole lot better

I actually know someone who got their license and never had to take the tests. They knew the right person at the DMV who secretly entered passing scores, signed off, and just gave them their license. Actually said person is a great driver they’ve been driving for thirty years and never had an accident and never been pulled over.

Yes. That's great. Except if it's an old guy who can't see straight. The other day a senior guy plowed into us, we were just stopped at a red light. He made a turn and just plowed into us at about 10 mph. Those people shouldn't be able to pay off some dMV person to get a license because they are a hazard.

Ok well that’s not exactly plowing into you. He definitely hit you but not plow. Second could he not see or was he not paying attention or did he misjudge. I’m not arguing I’m just curious. Third the person I know didn’t pay them off it was they just knew the DMV worker and said worker did them a favor.

I mean I could understand why she waited until she saw the dashed line to cross over into the “ bike lane “ that she passed. Because on highways you can only pass over broken white lines, but not white solid lines however it’s not recommended to cross over solid white lines. Also I think it’s important to signal while in the parking lot so other drivers can be aware of your intentions. Edit: you are allowed to drive in the bike lane for 200 feet only when making a right turn, turn right signal on before the solid white line turns into broken white line. 😊 look in right mirror and also look over right shoulder 👍 Ps. You did great 😊....also I’m not criticizing her some people Would want constructive criticism like myself.

Yes I got him too! Just today! I give him 5 stars for sure, he is a great examiner...you feel very comfortable driving with him! If you get him as an Instructor, you won the instructor lottery 🤟🏽 Oh and btw, he also tells/asks you about your mistakes first...making you feel like you might of failed, until he says you passed...It actually makes the moment way better 😂

1 to 2 hours before your appointment drive around the location of the test! They won’t take you far they avoid highways mostly. They will check stop signs, parallel, merge, use of signals and blind spot/mirror checking. Smooth stops and turns. It won’t last for more than 10 minutes but imagine you have already warmed up driving around the area. You will feel more confident. At least that’s my plan, lol. 😄

That’s the type of examiner everyone should get he is basically telling you everything the speed limits which a big thing or maybe coz it’s a girl he is trying to be friendly idk well I had such an a hole the first time even thou I gave right of way he still said no not enough I check the blind spots he said you check but it’s not good when I was going about 48 on a 50 zone he ask me to speed up he was like that but second time I pass it was such a nice girl so friendly and lastly your best bet is you get a young girl like in 30s or someone African or carribean

I agree. For me I reflect and realize how piss*d off I am at myself for not getting my license earlier. I am behind in life and am trying to forgive myself for being a bum, loser, worthless POS who never really aspired to anything but I'm slowly trying to change that. As I get older and things change in life I realize some things must be done or one will never grow or become independent. It really sucks after realizing I was the only reason I didn't get what I should have had earlier in life and knowing younger family members than me are independent, can drive, have their own cars, etc. Humbling is def a word for it but for me it's about accepting and forgiving myself. The pain I feel knowing I'm behind people in unbearable and that's why I'm trying to do what I need to do to better my life and attain the goals I need to achieve.

@hopevity you could do the pre vehicle inspection at your house it's pretty easy. We'll for me atleast I didn't even need to get out of the car so I didn't need to buckle up again lol but you have to make sure the instructor does before you do anything. And if you're still worried about hitting curbs just practice alot more and you'll feel comfortable I was the same way

My hands are sweating just sitting here watching youtube videos for tips to help me pass my road test. 🙃 hyperhydrosis... what a wonderful medical condition to have. 😂
