It makes sense that Houston has 2 professional sports teams named after space travel, Rockets & Astros. If only Houston Oilers were still around, it would have been perfect (fuel needed to propel the rocket.)

Thanks, Nick! I'm still editing the remaining days of the trip. I'll probably combine days 2-5 into a single video... maybe 2 videos. I'm trying to keep the video length around 30 mins or less because most people don't watch longer than that. I think I was doing my first 200milers. My first PCX ride from B/CS to Austin that same day... the weather was exactly the same, so I was also on the road _ remember that wind, slowed me down to 50mph and gas mileage down to about 75....... but a couple 100 miles northwest of you guys... LOL

Absolutely awesome and so lucky to be able to get so close. Here in New Zealand we have rocket lab who work along with Nassa. They are on the east coast of north island New Zealand. I have same colour pcx150 2016 as Adrian's.

Guys job is not to watch for people that say no, it's to be seen asking questions. While I am sure he is looking for someone acting odd, the guys you didnt see is who is doing the real work. Somewhere in the shadows is someone watching how the people in line are acting. It works like the "watch for pickpockets" sign scam. You see that sign an you instinctively touch your wallet. The pickpocket behind you now knows which pocket to pick. This guy is the sign an someone else is looking for people that start looking around when they see him. People looking for escape options.

True... I hadn't considered the distraction factor. They had a lot of high-tech vehicle and license plate cameras pointed at the cars in the funnel, so I'm sure they're doing lots of analysis in the background inside the BP station on the side of the road. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

@@QuasiMotard damn mine is a 2019 with maybe 450 miles on it, i trust honda products but i feel that little motor going 60-65 mph for longer than 20-30 minutes is going to not end well, idk why but thats the feeling i get from it. can't have it pegged that long

What’s the comfortable cruising speed of the PCX?

The "best" cruising speed depends on the road and wind conditions, but 55-60 MPH is easy and nearly effortless. The factory variator and rev-limiter for the 2015-2016 PCX150's limits the top speed to 62-63 MPH before bumping off of the limiter. Upgrading to aftermarket variator sliders (i.e., Dr.Pulley) increase the top speed to 65-68 MPH before hitting the rev-limiter. Aftermarket variators can bump the speed even higher (72-74 MPH), but the comfortable speed still seems to be around 60 MPH. The PCX is lightweight and has skinny wheels, so it tends to feel a little flighty above 65 MPH. Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

Do you use mid grade for all your bikes? Just wondering.

Howdy, Joe! I run mid-grade in most of my bikes and scoots as long as they have a moderately high-compression engine (e.g., above 10:1). Most of the 110-125cc mini motos run low-compression engines (9.0:1 to 9.7:1), so they can't take advantage of the higher octane fuels... it's just wasted money. I've noticed a minor bump in efficiency with mid-grade over base unleaded in the PCX and my larger Hondas (CB500F/X, Rebel, etc). Cheers! 😉👍 --QM

Good question! I'm just shocked at the amount of damage (and lack of thrust containment/mitigation) at that launch site. I knew the thrust from those 30+ Raptor engines was going to be insane, so the lack of a flame trench or thrust diverters was a bit of a head scratcher for me. 😉👍 --QM

I snagged that white 2015 PCX150 in early 2016 from Honda of the Ozarks in Springfield, MO. It was an overstock for them, and they were practically giving it away for $2400 brand new! I drove up there in my Honda Pilot and loaded it on a hitch carrier to bring it back to my wife as a Valentine's Day gift. 😉👍 --QM
