As long as history doesn't repeat, then it's cool to learn, I guess, but needs to stay in the past with all the racial ignorance .. the only true way is to move forward and acknowledge that atrocities were committed, but use that to not make the same atrocious mistakes moving forward... I don't think history should be ignored , but I do feel alotta the ignorant crap should be harder to find and not so predominantly presented... that being said , knowledge is power friends, so learn all you can , but use it to prosper not fall back .. peace and love all, keep it rad, and stay safe 🤙🏽 ✌🏽

The Gold Rush road discovery reminded me of when I took a road trip to Tennessee for the eclipse. We stopped to find a campsite to watch it, and found "Dead Negro Hollow" needless to say as a black dude I moved out of the area with haste. Blue Ridge parkway remains one of my favorite drives those turns are so nicely banked.

This is definitely your best road trip. I wonder if short Ben would’ve had more fun along side the S2000 in the FD. As for the S2000, easily the best sounding 4 cylinder car I’ve ever heard. Also Bens, I say this with love for all things JDM: it’s only a matter of time before you both make the jump to Porsche. I’ve been following for years and the style of driving and motorsports you enjoy are a natural fit. Amazing sound and dynamics, reliability, comfortable, iconic etc. 911 for Short Ben, Cayman for Tall Ben. It’s the ultimate driving experience.

50:23 these roads that are made on top of old dirt roads are definitely a different breed, they've been shapen through years of being driven on when muddy and the bad sections of the road being washed up etc. these roads are shaped in conjunction with forces of nature and they flow in an efficient sort of way!

As a washington native, salt basin is cool, but you would have found better roads farther north like out in darrington. And as someone who lives in the mountains near levenworth, as cool as it is, we locals hate it. Ruins the peace up here and makes the price of everything go up sky high, especially in summer, tourits come camp and off road on our land, litter and trash it when all the campsites get too over crowded. Although im so happy to finally watch a road trip where you guys went somewhere besides seattle and super happy to see you literally drove right by my house lol. I was really hoping this made the video cause one of the attendants at the gas station i go to said you guys came through and i was really exited to see what youd say about the area. It’s unfortunate that you guys did not have an opportunity to explore the the WA, OR, ID corner of the PNW more. There are enough roads there to fill a week or two. I’m from just North of the border & my friends used to spend a week of our Holidays driving in that area staying in different small town motels every night just to get to experience them. All of us in different cars wasting tires, brakes & gas just for the buzz you get from carving back roads in a spirited manner. As for Leavenwoth, yes it’s a tourist trap, but the reason it was turned into that was to basically save the town. The main industry/employer closed down & they needed an idea to save the town from dying as many of the residents loved living in that area. So they went all in & it worked. They saved the town they loved & it’s awesome!!!!

I live in downtown Toronto where owning a car doesn't make sense. So the enthusiast inside me has been living vicariously through KZbin for 6+ years now, but after watching this I am legit wondering if I should just buy myself something cheap and impractical just so I can experience the flow of the road through my hands and feet again. Sigh. Adulthood is a rough community in to live in.

The production quality is ridiculously high yet it doesn't stop it from feeling genuine I don't live in the US and quite frankly I've never heard any of the creators on the space talk much, if not all about any of these roads, so despite the fact that it is very unlikely I'll ever get to drive them, It's still a privilege getting to see them in this high quality. Seems like one thing to consider is the car you're in. Short Ben enjoying the scenery more in the big civic makes sense because driving tight, twisty roads is going to be more of a challenge, while the s2k is going to shine more there. As someone who lives in Columbus, a lot of Ohio's best driving roads are in the Wayne National Forest/Hocking Hills area. But like you guys said, there's houses and neighborhoods everywhere. There's 88 counties in Ohio and the least populated one still has over 12,000 people in it, so there's not too many truly isolated roads to drive.
