There's just something about Mark Bittman that I don't like. I can't tell if he's not technical enough or I just don't like his personality (don't particularly care for Mario Batali personally either, but I still watch his vids)...TBH, I don't know his background, maybe he's been head chef somewhere I didn't know about? He kinda just cooks like a neighbor's grandpa and then films it and puts it up on NYT.
