I was watching Into The Pit and it fucking blew my mind away. I've heard the song before plenty of times and was one of my favorite Fight songs. But then I thought what if this was the first time I had seen Rob Halford ever. I know truly understand the presence of Rob Halford. Nobody can ever really sound him. He is an absolute beast who doesn't back down.

Halford was terrifyingly good then! I think too good for the brutal, monotonous style of Fight 😉. What's interesting is how he declined in the following years. You can hear it with the Halford band live, then on the Rising in the East dvd for example. The lowest for me is the live at Graspop 2008, I cannot watch that, sometimes it's painful. He got his shit together and on Epitaph and since then he just shone again, not just as a singer, but a performer in general. But in the mid90s he had his finesse, looseness and flexibility with which he sometimes struggled afterwards.
@Nissardpertugiu2 ай бұрын
He had serious back problems in 2004-2010. Also while he still delivered amazing incredible, a long time evolution since the late 80's with more and more signs by 1992-1995...his that after 1998, Rob biologicaly quit his low tenor register to a high baritone one.

This video does no justice for the great Rob Halford. Point blank, it is a lousy video. Why? The video has no qualities about it. Do it right next time. Put some effort and heart into it!
@sparkdreamers50554 ай бұрын
@@wxstedbreath I must say you did a phenomenal job with the audio. And Thank you for sharing this hidden gem. I was actually surprised at how good the quality of both the video and audio was for a home video in 1995. But knowing you helped restore this video makes way more sense. It gave me a new appreciation for Rob Halford. When you strip away the leather and all the lights and glory of Judas Priest, you get to see the real power, strength, and dedication of The Metal God!
