What a great video and overview. Most people on YT showing off old games now have this "Look what I have, this is expensive and/or hard to find" kinda vibe. This video shows off a game that's affordable on the secondhand market, along with honest commentary and who may or may not be interested in it. I may look for a copy of this. Thanks for the vid!

I’ve heard people make fun of DnD and other TTRPGs as “Math: the Game”. Of course, they mean it as an insult despite being kind of accurate with their description, especilly old school AD&D or this game. Yet, it should be seen as a compliment. I was (and still am) awful when it comes to math - easily my worst subject in school. Yet MtG taught me about probability when constructing a new deck and trying to find the right balance between mana, creatures, and spells. THACO, though I hated it, nonetheless taught me to do mental math faster and become more accurate consistently in addition to getting a better grasp on doing calculations involving negative numbers. All while exercising my imagination, socializing, and creating lasting memories with friends and family. For folks who think gaming is childish or is not an art form or doesn’t have real world applications then I highly encourage such people to re-examine their opinion.
