Dark Tower was a big part of my youth. I loved it! After playing RTtDT, the old game pales in comparison. There really wasn’t much to it besides the 8bit tower(which I loved). The new game is awesome. The minis are some of the best I’ve seen. They are super heavy duty and great sculpts. No flimsy swords here! Can’t wait for the covenant expansion.

this game is what brought me into the gaming world.. I had a couple of games home. But I was not a big gamer let's say. But this one looked so good it caught my attention even thought I never played the original. The production is fantastic. When you will turn on that tower you will see :) anyway from there I started a collection and waiting for my convenant expansion. If you can get your hands on the neoprene board, it really makes those mini shine! thanks again for a great video!

Totally agree that Restoration Games is one of the best board game companies out there. I am not so keen on the Crossbows and Catapults release, but I really like all of their other stuff. The Dark Horde does look good and I can imagine the tower field populated with all of those figures and it really would add a lot to the game. Be sure to get the neoprene mat with your copy - it will add more space on the field for all of those minis.

My friend got this with all the trimmings and it really is a sight! :-D I only got to play it once, so far, but we had a great time! Really solid game. :-)

@@seahawk8601 Do note... I have heard from more than one source that the expansions really make this game shine. We didn't play with any of the expansions and we still had a great time, though. Maybe next time we will add in some new stuff. :-)

I remember seeing ads for Dark Tower in Dragon magazine back in the day and pining for it. Like yourself I never encountered it in the wild. This looks incredible and that is a lot miniature bad-assery for the money !
