Here in Australia, having followed the Wrexham story from the beginning, it has been tremendous to get to know Rob, someone who wasn't really on my radar. He is passionate, funny and heartfelt. Congratulations Rob, Ryan and Wrexham!

Im responding to your comment purely because its top of the pile of many. I'm from Wrexham and though no longer living local, stood on the Racecourse countless times through the 60s and 70s. The fact you even know of it and have an interest (along with so many others) I find truly astonishing. The revolution spreads far beyond the football. My 92 year old mother still lives local and cannot stop talking about it. Up the Town!

It is a win win scenario The wrexham story make both very relevant and famous worldwide- especially for Rob

@nickfury8973 Check out the documentary. It's really nothing to do with that. It came from Rob's love of sports and bringing in Ryan as an investor, which has turned into a labor of love for both.

I watched the last episode of season 2. What an awesome piece of film making Rob and Ryan, you guys are awesome - thank you for what you did for that town. I am from South Africa, rugby did this for us in 1995 after coming from a deep, dark place.

When he mentions "the King" visiting, it took me a second to realize he wasn't talking about, like, Hugh Jackman or Bob Dylan or someone like that. No, he meant the actual King of England.

Peterborough United (Posh) are more interesting than Wrexham, as the viewing public will find out when Posh play Wrexham home and away in the coming season.

He's the King of the UK, not England
@harryselwind7 ай бұрын
Doesn't that make him the King of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and, er, England?
@Potato-mu7nu7 ай бұрын
Buckingham Palace is in London, which is in England where many "English" monarchs have reigned. If the countries had their way and were financially able they would secede from the UK. The English do not have a good track record of being "kind" to Scotland, Wales, or the Irish.
@me59697 ай бұрын
@@harryselwindyeah but that's sort of the problem though. Not for me because I don't care but in general it implies to people who don't know (Americans) that he's not the king of the other countries. Most Americans just aren't aware that Scottish people are British for example. They think Britain and England are the same and Scotland is its own little island somewhere. It also implies to Americans that Wales is part of England. It doesn't help that they play in the English leagues but the implication that the King of England and not the King of Britain or however they want to phrase it paid them a visit only enforces the belief that Wales is in England to them.
