Who's tha drum sensei?! Rob Brown! Thanks Dr. Brown, for another informative and quality video. I love how you're always behind your kit when you're teaching us. I've noticed that alot of drummers will talk about the drums in a bedroom. Most do so in front of a camera, w/o a kit present, which takes away from the comfortable (percussive) environment. That's my opinion.

Just a random, I’m breaking down Rob Brown. I’ve done my research on electric drums and I’ve narrowed it down to the Alesis Strike Pro SE. Have you any info/advice before my ‘soon to be’ purchase? OF COURSE I’d rather be buying an acoustic kit! But I live in a condominium. My acoustic kit is back in B.C. Anyway brother, I absolutely love your channel. Incredible KZbin persona. Thanks for all.

You will probably regret it. Most do and others will lie to justify their purchase. Hi hat issues from most people I talked to. Tried one myself and it felt like an expensive toy. I didn't want a toy. Go for Quality over quantity and stick with Roland or Yamaha. Also check out 65 Drums here on KZbin.

@@andybdrumming2191 thanks man. I took a few rips on it at the music store and I quite liked it, EXCEPT for the hi-hat; the fact that the bell had no bell sound to it. But thanks again. The search continues. We’ll see what happens.

Thanks for the review.. for $20 they are in my cart. 20hz to 40hz.. uh that's swanky. for those that don't understand that even though you don't perceive above 20khz.. it fills in the picture - like an art oil painting that WASN'T UNDERPAINTED (look it up) .. it's just surface if you don't have the full spectrum.. you don't 'see' the underpainting on the oil portrait but it's an important step to the end result of how it looks.. don't be fooled by the rhetoric that you can throw out information in audio above 20khz..that's a scam brought to you by the compression people. It's a good idea for radio but not for full dynamic range of audio. No Jazz recording would be anything without those extended frequencies .. unless you're going for trash dischordant jazz I guess.
