Thanks for the fun video! A lot of guys would lose their cool when they inevitably go off line, hit a tree, end up deep in the woods, but you kept up a positive fun vibe all the way - I love that! I play disc golf for fun. Doing well makes it more fun, yes, but getting to play at all is having fun regardless :)

Very much enjoyed this video, it just reminds me of playing Disc Golf with friends. It also highlights the importance and FUN of playing a putter only round. I think it takes the expectation out of the round, and you'd be surprised at how much better you play when there are no expectations.

Inspired by this Robbie C video last night, I took only putters to the course and was one under till my game fell apart on 6, 7 and 9. Still, sunk bids from 40 and 80 feet, so a good day. What's the good part about putters-only: No flip, no fade They bite. They don't skip and seldom roll. They have larger lips than mids or drivers, so you can power grip and let her rip. The hole I birdied, #5, is heavily forested. My randomly selected companions who invited me to join them had their full bags and sent drivers sailing into trees and onto the next fairway. I threw a great drive with my Discraft Soft Focus that held its course and sailed between the trees, and sunk an 80 approach shot with my Discraft Soft Ringer on a flick backhand that was perfectly flat along its course. Afterward, one of my companions said "That's how you play this hole: putter - putter" - and it was their opinion that #5 is the hardest hole on the front 9.

So a year ago when I first started disc golfing I always thought just throw DIstance Driver. Almost a year later I realized throwing my Middies, Fairway, and Putters is just way smarter thing for me to do. It makes me deal with less scrambling and gives me more of an open lane to the pin. I would absolutely suggest people learn their bags in and out.

I noticed on some of the tee pads you went slightly right to left on them, and your disc went in that same direction. So it kinda looked like early release but they were coming out on the line you were throwing. I see that alot in my game. I just forget that I'm not aligned correctly sometime when I'm going up the tee pad. Sadly in many cases I only realize that once the disc leaves my hand. 😂

Legit question for you Robbie. How is this concept accepted in the tournament setting ? I have a tournament coming up that I think if I only threw straight mids and putters I could shoot par or under for two rounds. But how is this taken in the tournament aspect
