Robby Naish - Windsurfing Kona Wind Lanes

A few times per year we get wind from the opposite direction to our normal North-Easterly "tradewinds" called "Kona winds". This makes for some challenging, gusty, but fun windsurfing wave sailing on Maui's North Shore.

Sometimes i watch the old Mistral promotion video with our Robby. “ Robby, the style didn’t change a bit.” I can recognize you style from miles away. Oke, we do not see the extreme radical tricks the new genararion makes, but who cares. Fantastic!!

Robby is still THE waterman and it's great to watch him go on the water. It's a shame that Naish's board range is no longer properly differentiated when it comes to windsurfing boards. I would like to ride a Naish board one day, but currently I can find more suitable equipment elsewhere in every class! maybe that will change again with Crazy Riccardo🤪
