The Mgr of Golds (Jeff) gym conspired with an employee to have Robbie expulsed from this Gym! The spitting incident itself is just petty. But something more troubling is going on here, there is a Pattern!. Previous High level Golds Managerial Staff (Josh Fuglsby - EX VP, and Jason Williams- EX GM) also had unprovoked disparaging remarks for Robbie! there appears to be no one else at Golds experiencing such scrutiny. Why was this man single out to bully! I urge all of his FANS to Write Golds gym Headquarters... and ask for an Investigation of this Incidence. The Golds manager (Jeff) actions could be contrued to be a PRETEXT to conceal discriminatory behavior. Get on it, FANS!!!

Sounds like they don’t like Robbie and they were looking for an excuse to terminate his membership. I got kicked out of a gym once, I was the only guy in a spin class and I made the mistake of telling the story about my buddy who’s wife divorced him as soon as he retired and she got half of his pension and he had to sell his house because she wanted half. All of a sudden I was a male chauvinist and out the door I went. It’s a funny world man.

Any of us that have been competing for 40-plus years have had these types of experiences. I'm an 8-time world powerlifting champion. The Gold's gym franchisees are intimidated by professional lifters. Just leave and go to a real gym or buy your own equipment. Those people aren't worth the effort to confront.

Ok, from the business’ standpoint, I could maybe see how they may not want people spitting into the toilet or urinal just because the other members in the bathroom might hear this and be grossed out as pooping and peeing is normal in a bathroom but you don’t always hear people hocking up phlegm to spit. It’s unsanitary, and what if he spits on the seat or something by accident? Lol. However, I would cut him some slack and just give him a couple warnings because Robby is a legend and I think helps the image in that gym that he is there. I saw Robby there last year when I was there visiting and thought it was so cool to see him. Hope he goes back and they work this out.
