IT’S DINNER TIME! Dinner is my favorite. Sorry Robbie. I always like when dinner is on a job. I think he reminds me of myself. I was always the big guy. I know what it’s like being bigger than everyone else. Always being the butt of all the jokes can get old after a while. I’m all for a dinner time regular segment! I think it would add to an already great channel!

I saw a comment about letting Aiden in in the build and think that would be a great idea if he would be interested in do so. Since he wouldn't have that opportunity to work on the truck with his dad, it would give him a chance to do it in spirit with his dad. He would appreciate the experience of "hands on for his dad" in the future. You should also have something like a plaque or maybe a picture of him and his dad together laminated someplace like the glove box. "In memory of his dad"

Maybe, but they might just need a break too. Being on a largish youtube channel might not feel right for a lot of people when grieving. I know I wouldn't want to be on camera after losing a family member. I'm sure Robby and the crew take this into account and understand.

One of my friends dad owned a body shop in the small town I grew up in in SE Indiana in the 80s. When I say small town, I mean 260 people. He did insurance repairs and restoration. All in a 2 bay garage. When he wasn't restoring someone's car he was building one car from two wrecked cars. His work looked good and he never had a problem selling them, even with salvage/rebuilt titles. I spent a good portion of my early teens in that garage. I can't imagine the bondo dust was good for my lungs, but the smell of a body shop really brings back some memories. My friends dad's garage was the first place I got drunk.

Hope your wrist or arm is good to go. It's nice when your experience is with the volunteers, you matter man! DINNER, you are a master of the dismantling, spot on big man! And yes you should rebuild your truck, it's yours and has been for a long time, it's nice the 350 with the factory manual trans. Full body, interior and repaint. If you can sell enough 👕? Maybe even a factory, G.M. replacement engine, like a 400 c.i. small block, exact same size motor, only G.M. sells new, hi - performance engines, a new engine, for those long haul trips! 😀 . ROBBY, your doing a great thing for this young man, is Aidan going to be able to help? Is he a motor head so to speak? Thanks ♥️ for sharing. ✌🏻🇨🇦

After 35 years as a body tech I learned to never plan on swapping doors on that model truck without fitting the assembled doors before painting them. The stripped doors will fit differently than the heavier assembled doors. When the factory assembled the truck they set the doors in place, then welded the hinges in place. The trucks were built in several plants over many years so the odds of the doors fitting are nonexistent. There is no adjustment without bending the hinges and/or door to fit. The best thing to do is get the GM replacement hinge kits that bolt on, then you have wiggle room to fit the door. Its not a bad idea to wallow out the mounting holes to make sure there is enough adjustment room. A lesson I've learned the hard way!
