I love how Robbie could actually get a new JLU. I like that he chooses to build his own from the ashes of one that would've went to the scrap yard. Excited for this build! Hope the boss approves!

What a mess!! I hate working with charred stuff. Dirty, itchy, and sometimes almost impossible to get apart. BUT you guys are doing a fine job of getting that jeep torn down!!

I think your crazy doing a pillar cut. You won't want to drive it when it's too hot, or when it's too cold, or when it's raining. You can't stop on the way to, or way home from the trail because someone will steal your winch remote. Leaving the cab on and full doors is far more comfortable and secure.

I agree. I absolutely do not comprehend Robbie's fetish for cutting roofs off vehicles. I'm sure it rains where he is, and I'll bet a really well-built Jeep might even be found where is snows.

Came to leave a comment on my own, saw you hijacked it right out from under me !!! A 2.8L wouldn't take a supercharger without exploding the heads, a 2.9L might last a bit. Gentlemen, START YOUR MOTOR !

You are my first fab/recovery video watch this morning. Really enjoy your interactions. Anybody in autobody must dream of working in such a positive and fun environment. I can see why the guys stay late and are up before sunrise to work. I am hoping that the YT community grows so that you can still afford to work on the fun stuff. Keep up the great work. 👍

you should keep the coolest melted part and have it mounted like a trophy and display it in the shop. maybe a picture to go with it.

Loving this build! That jeep had some pretty good equipment on it. Metal cloak fenders and rock sliders, king shocks. You definitely got a good starting point with it!

If those rock sliders and fender’s are from metal cloak, you may want to keep them. They’re expensive and some of the best quality stuff on the market. When it comes time for steering stuff might want to look in their one ton steering for the JK.

Robby, you should ware breathing protection on any vehicle that fire dept. Has used foam on. In just the past month it has been determined that the foam most fire services use contains large amounts of carcinogens. So any dust off a fire involved vehicle could have that on them.

I definitely think you need to put the supercharger on the bronco and give it a sendoff. Then maybe put a V6 Early 2000s mustang engine in it. Then put the supercharger back on that. Those engines are a dime a dozen.

In my option the hard top delete is a BAD idea keep that as is. Change the color or what ever. But with the weather changing you limit the use of the Jeep.

I found that oven off oven cleaner works the best at getting the black suit off of everything. !! Spray it with oven cleaner let it sit for a while then power wash it

I agree with Hillbilly. Throw that wire in a metal barrel and burn the rest of the coating off of it. There's about #50 of copper in that Jeep. LOL At the current average of $3.50/#, that's over $150 worth that could buy some other part for Aiden's truck or whatever your next project is!

Nasty, but the goal of building a rock crawler is Picasso likable. Further, I think Dinner is the voice of reason but I also think Hillbilly should do whatever he wants to do to his Bronco, (as long as he doesn’t get hurt with flying debris).

thats so awesome. i took my 85 square body in and the work they did on mine was out of this world. didn't even get down the block and it burnt up. So i hauled it home did the work on it myself. At least there you guys are professionals here in South Dakota they are not. and if there is some? haven't run into them yet......Robbie you and crew rock!!. wish i was closer i would have you work on my truck.

Redid a burned under the hood 04 wrangler which had about the same damage. Didn't realize the wire harness running along the inside of the firewall was melted together. Also, part of the firewall side of the airbox was melted and wasn't visible just looking under the dash.
